Climbing Experience at Sunlight Rock, the Best Scenic Spot in Gulangyu

Sunlight Rock I visited Sunlight Rock, the highest point in Gulangyu. Fortunately, when we went, there were some clouds, so it wasn't too sunny or hot. The initial part of the trail was easy to walk, like a casual stroll, but starting from the middle, there were more stairs, making it a bit tiring. However, the path was well-maintained, so it wasn't difficult to climb. Along the way, you could see the sea and the scenery of Gulangyu, which made for great spots to take a break and snap some photos. At the summit, a refreshing view of Xiamen city, the sea, and the Gulangyu area unfolds before your eyes. The breeze at the top was invigorating, and the view alone made the climb worthwhile. It took about 15–20 minutes to reach the top, and while my legs felt a bit shaky on the way down, overall, it was a satisfying experience. If you visit Gulangyu, I highly recommend climbing Sunlight Rock at least once. Thanks to the cloudy weather, the hike was much more comfortable.
