Bringing the kids to Xiamen and staying at Yanhai Homestay was such a delightful surprise! The loft room was cozy and spacious, with a unique artistic decor style. Opening the door revealed a dreamy starry sky pool with an amazing ambiance. The room even had a children's slide, keeping the little ones thrilled. Just a few minutes' walk to the beach made outings super convenient. Choosing this spot for a family trip was both relaxing and hassle-free. Our days at Yanhai Homestay became the most heartwarming part of our Xiamen getaway. The room featured the minimalist style I love—white walls paired with wooden furniture, and bedding so fresh it felt sun-kissed, making it hard to get out of bed. The hostess would brew a pot of local tea, sharing stories about the seaside while recommending hidden-gem beaches and authentic local shrimp noodle spots in the alleys—more practical than any travel guide. Close enough to Zengcuoan yet peacefully removed from the bustle, it's just a short stroll to the sandy shore. Half the laid-back vibe of this trip came from Xiamen's seaside charm, and the other half from Yanhai's carefree comfort. Next time in Xiamen, we're definitely staying here again.
