We wandered from the upper stream to the lower stream of the Tuo River, strolling slowly, pausing often — completely enchanted by Fenghuang’s beauty. Despite the town becoming quite commercialized (photo studios at every corner), it still retains its charm, especially on rainy days. The mist and rain add a dreamy, Jiangnan-style atmosphere that’s hard to replicate elsewhere. 🌿 But a word of honesty — the lower stream of the river has visible trash, and at times, you can catch whiffs of unpleasant odors.
