Ban Phon Ngoi Temple, Yasothon

It’s so close to home but I never knew there was such a beautiful temple!! “Wat Ban Phon Ngoi” is located at Ban Phon Khwa, Village No. 6, Khan Dai Yai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Yasothon Province. It is said that…it used to be an abandoned temple. In 2005, Phra Khru Thawan Khemakit, the abbot of the subdistrict, renovated and developed it until it became beautiful and magnificent (it’s really beautiful, there are Naga statues everywhere). Inside the temple, there is Luang Pho Ruay Ruea Tan Jai, Chedi Si Ruang Ruang, and Luang Pu Siha, which the villagers believe in and like to come to worship and ask for blessings. Especially on the 1st and 16th of every month, the villagers will flock to make merit. Dora will have to come back to worship at this temple again because this time, Dora came with her relatives to offer water to the teacher monk here. Normally, her relatives make merit here regularly, so she came and went quickly. So Dora could only take a few pictures. She missed taking pictures of the chedi in front and worshiping the big Buddha and Phra Pu Si Suttho. I will come back to update the pictures again.
