Exploring Yibin's Hidden Eateries

I recently came across a video about 'Ran Mian' noodles and found it quite unbelievable. The noodle shop is actually located inside a pork stall, which is quite unique. During my visit to Yibin, I made a special trip to try it out. I wandered around to experience the local culture, and the market was my first choice. It took me three passes to find the shop, which is indeed behind a pork stall and a bit hard to locate. I ordered a bowl to try. The 'Ran Mian' noodles are really dry and need to be paired with soup or a drink, otherwise, they are hard to swallow. The taste is authentic and different from what I've had in other provinces. The flavor is subjective; it's not about being good or bad. Personally, I found it too dry and not to my liking, but it's worth trying for the authentic experience!
