Matsugasaki Shrine

Matsugasaki Shrine 1-1-38 Marunouchi, Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture Located on the approach to Uesugi Shrine, there is a bronze statue of Uesugi Yozan on the east side of the shrine grounds, and a stone monument with Uesugi Yozan's words of prophecy inside the shrine grounds. A shrine dedicated to Uesugi Yozan, Uesugi Kagekatsu, Naoe Kanetsugu, Hosoi Heishu, Takemata Totsuna, and Usado Yoshimasa. About a 20-minute walk from Minami-Yonezawa Station, about a 30-minute walk from Yonezawa Station, or a 10-minute bus ride from the Uesugi Shrine bus stop, then a 3-minute walk from there. *Please note that there are few buses. #Yamagata #Yonezawa #Summer trip
