Pitou Picture Book Park

#AprilGoodDestinations2025 Pitou Picture Book Park is located in Xiluo, Yunlin. The park is themed on "Once upon a time, there was a Sanheyuan" created by local picture book artist Ma Ha. Ma Ha and artist Liao Senmao transformed the scenes in the book into real scenes, creating sculptures of characters and scenes in the book such as Xiaomei, watermelon fields, and whales, turning this place into a three-dimensional picture book park. "Once upon a time, there was a Sanheyuan" is about the life memories of the old Sanheyuan by the Zhuoshui River in Xiluo in the 1960s. The scenes include the Sanheyuan, school, rice fields and watermelon fields on the sandbar. Although it describes a period of old times that have passed, many situations are still very relevant to modern rural areas.
