This time, I planned a half-day trip to the windmill village in the Netherlands. There’s no extravagant introduction to the attractions—just a vast green field, a few old windmills with slowly turning blades, and the sound of sheep grazing in the fields. The entire village feels like a living history museum. 🚄Transportation 【How to Get There】 ．Take a train from Amsterdam Central Station to "Zaandijk Zaanse Schans Station," approximately 17 minutes. ．After getting off, walk for 10–15 minutes to reach the windmill village (the scenery along the way is also beautiful). ⸻ 🫀Personal Thoughts At first, I thought, "It seems like visiting windmills is a must when in the Netherlands," but the moment I stepped into the village, my mood suddenly relaxed. The grass is so green, the sky so blue, the sheep so quiet, and the windmills so slow—nothing is trying to grab your attention, yet you naturally want to pause and take a closer look. My favorite part was the path along the water, walking while watching the windmills slowly turn, imagining people hundreds of years ago walking the same path. The magic of this place isn’t in its grandeur but in how it makes you feel, "This is enough." When the sunlight falls, even the shadows make you want to take a photo.
