This is a new complex cultural space in Jincheon! There are cafes, exhibitions, restaurants, and buildings that feel like a botanical garden! Since it is a space run by a smart farm startup, they say they have a menu using vegetables they grow themselves. Korean Peninsula Topographic Observatory near Jincheon Chopyeong Reservoir! Parking is available for about 10 cars, and the road up is very rough, so it is not recommended for beginner drivers :) Somewhat experienced drivers can go up! This summer, I visited the newly opened pool villa "Sigigongchu" in Jincheon, Chungcheongbuk-do! The pool is operated with lukewarm water, so it seems like it can be used not only in summer but also in the cold winter! I visited in September, and it was so nice to be in the warm pool on a slightly chilly evening!!!! Not only was the pool heated, but the amenities were prepared with high-end products such as Dyson and Aesop, so it was even better. Saenggeojincheon Nongdari, Sky Bridge, Nongdari Falls, Korean Peninsula Geographical Park The Nongdari trip, which is neither too long nor too short, is a good course to take a light trip on the same day. We chose a weekday and were able to enjoy a comfortable trip without any complications. We were even lucky enough to encounter native squirrels, which are hard to find these days, five times. When you cross the Sky Bridge, there is a friendly sign that says Cheongchun Sanghoe, and two grandmothers wear their high school uniforms and run the store. It is also a sentimental place. It is the perfect place to have a healing time while looking out at the lake with a cup of iced coffee.

Jincheon, North Chungcheong Province, which is about two hours away from Seoul. The reason I went to this somewhat unfamiliar area was to visit Iwolseoga, a book cafe where nature’s vast embrace and architectural beauty come together. The vast garden, which seemed to be in a well-maintained park, the café with its structural architecture, and the quiet reading space where you could enjoy the seasons outside the window gave the feeling of staying in nature. How peaceful it looked to see everyone, from children to old people with white hair, absorbed in a book as if they had made a promise to do so, enjoying their own kind of vacation.
