The herbal baths are famous, and the sauna also uses herbs. Hot air comes out at set times. The building itself feels old, but the interior is clean and tasteful. It's open from early in the morning, so you can have breakfast here, or spend the whole day there.

There are many large playground equipment in the vast park. The playground equipment includes multiple slides, some of which are spiral-shaped. There is enough space in the plaza to set up a tent, and it is bustling with families on weekends. There are also rental bicycles and go-karts, so you can have fun all day long. Parking is free, but be aware that there are not many of them.

Aquatoto Gifu mainly exhibits freshwater fish from around the world. The facility is relatively new, and there is a river flowing outside and it is a park, so it is rich in nature. It is exciting to see the exhibits divided into areas of the world, such as the Mekong River and the Amazon. It is a world view that makes you feel as if you are there. A small zoo that moves around Gifu prefecture!! This time, the Japan trip is planned for 3 nights and 4 days in Nagoya. Nagoya is the third most visited city after Tokyo and Osaka, serving as a central hub for connections. The itinerary includes a round trip to Nagoya, covering Gifu Prefecture, Mie Prefecture, Shiga Prefecture, and Kyoto Prefecture. Since the return flight is scheduled for 10 AM on the 4th day, the trip effectively provides 3 full days for exploration. A detailed plan has been crafted to make the most of the time: Day 1 in Nagoya, Day 2 in Kyoto, and Day 3 with accommodation in Handa. Afternoon tea sessions have been reserved at newly opened hotels in Nagoya and Kyoto, totaling 9 sessions over 3 days. For the first time, I’m attempting 4 sessions in a single day, having successfully managed 3 sessions on over 10 occasions before. This new challenge is fueled by confidence from past experiences. Last month, a new Pokémon manhole was installed in Gifu Prefecture, and I plan to visit one of them during this trip. I’ll also collect manholes from Gifu, Mie, and Shiga Prefectures. Additionally, the Gifu Prefecture itinerary includes visits to an aquarium, an aviation museum, and a tower, all within a speedy 2-hour timeframe. In Aichi Prefecture, I’ll visit one of the four towers I haven’t been to yet among Japan’s top 20 towers. This particular tower ranks 9th in height. Previously, I visited the 4th and 10th tallest towers located in Nagoya. The remaining three towers are in Akita, Toyama, and Kagawa Prefectures, which I plan to conquer next year. In Mie and Shiga Prefectures, I’ll take short walks of about 1 kilometer each along the Tokaido and Nakasendo routes. I’m especially looking forward to visiting Kakami-gahara, Kameyama, Ritto, and Handa for the first time. Thank you!

This Japan trip is planned for 3 nights and 4 days, starting in Nagoya. This marks my 27th visit to Nagoya, and on the 4th day, I will return home via Osaka with a morning flight. The itinerary includes staying in Nagoya on the 1st day, Kyoto on the 2nd day, and Izumisano in Osaka Prefecture on the 3rd day. Since the pandemic, I have visited over 150 afternoon tea spots across Japan, and the number of new places to explore is gradually decreasing. For this trip, I will attend six afternoon tea sessions, with four being new locations and two being revisits but with different themes. I plan to explore Pokémon manholes in one location in Wakayama and throughout Osaka, collecting 18 manhole cards. For sightseeing, I will visit one spot along the Nakasendo route, the Aerospace Museum, and some architectural works by Tadao Ando. In Aichi Prefecture, I will revisit one castle after a long time. This will be my 97th castle visit, leaving just three more to reach my personal goal of 100 castles. Out of the 100 famous castles, I have visited 60 since learning about them, and now I visit any castle I come across, even without collecting stamps. Last year, I missed out on a Michelin-rated udon restaurant in Nagoya due to its closure, but I plan to visit it again this time. For the Nagoya-Kyoto transfer, I have reserved a Shinkansen ticket to save time. While regular trains require two transfers and take two hours at a cost of 3,000 yen, the Shinkansen takes only 30 minutes without transfers for 5,000 yen, making it the obvious choice. In Nagoya, I will use the Meitetsu Line 2-Day Pass starting from Chubu Airport. Of course, I will also make time to recharge at Starbucks. Thank you.

Heading to Shin-Unuma Station. Continuing to use the Meitetsu All-Line 2-Day Pass from yesterday. Quickly snapping a photo of the manhole cover and then exploring Unuma-juku on the Nakasendo route. So far, I've visited about 10 places along the Nakasendo. A snowstorm begins. I head to Kakamigahara Citizen Park, searching for manhole covers. The snow creates a beautiful landscape, making the scenery even more picturesque. I take the Fureai 100 Yen Bus to the Aerospace Museum. I thoroughly enjoy the museum. From helicopters to spaceships, airplanes, and jets, everything is aviation-themed. It's a place kids would love, especially with the current collaboration with Doraemon. You can even try a flight simulation. After finishing the museum tour, I go on a manhole cover hunt in Inuyama, Fusō Town, and Kitanagoya City. I stop by a Lawson convenience store to grab some snacks. Walking around Nakasendo and hunting for manhole covers must have made me hungry. Thank you.
