We traveled from Phuket to Krabi, heading straight to our accommodation. As usual, we booked our hotel through Trip, and it never disappoints. The hotel is located a bit deep inside, but it’s peaceful and quiet. After checking in, we took a shower, changed clothes, and went out to find something to eat. We dined at an Isaan restaurant called Luang Prabang, and the food was absolutely delicious! Since I already love fermented fish sauce, this place was a rare find for me. After finishing our savory meal, we moved on to dessert at a Japanese-style café. The café was super cute with plenty of photo spots, giving off a vibe like you’re in Japan. The café offers a variety of menu items, including rice dishes, donuts, bingsu, and sweet drinks. After that, we headed to a chill-out bar called Factory. The music was great, and every band performed beautifully. The bar opens in the evening, I think, and closes at 2 AM, so you can hang out there for hours.

The round trip by boat on the lake takes 3 hours. If you've already rented a motorcycle, you can come on your own. I booked a tour with a travel agency at Ao Nang Beach. It included round-trip transportation and kayaking, with three time slots available each day: morning, noon, and afternoon. 🎫The shimmering lake is very peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle. Kayaking the entire route can be tiring, so you might want to hire a boatman. Along the way, you'll see some adorable monkeys. In the deeper parts, there are branches and mud. There are also a few shallow spots where you can get off the boat and take pictures. 🦞Afterward, head straight to Tong Talay Seafood Buffet. This is an unlimited seafood buffet near Ao Nang Beach. Below the wooden stairs was a ship dock that looked like a fish raft. It is hard to imagine how the Hui Muslim ancestors who came here hundreds of years ago established this tribe on the sea. Although with the injection of capital from modernization and tourism industries, it is no longer what it used to be. But we are also thankful that today’s residents are better equipped to defend themselves against the ever-changing dangers on the sea. Our group had a set meal of eight dishes and one soup, which included Tom Yum Goong soup and a total of five seafood dishes, with free refills of rice. Next is a bottle of Coke and ice cubes. This amount of food is not to mention for a table of 10 people. I think even 15 people with small appetites may still be full.
