🇯🇵 Kurashiki Bikan, an old town located in Okayama Prefecture. The atmosphere in this city is very cute. The traditional old town landscape is surrounded by nature. Most of the banks are lined with willow trees. It is quiet and beautiful. Every corner is a beautiful photo spot. The old Japanese houses have been converted into shops along both sides of the Kurashiki River. There are shops, restaurants, cafes, museums, and hotels, so tourists come and go continuously. It is also the backdrop for many famous dramas and movies. It is very well managed. The environment is well-maintained and the old town is very clean. I walked around until I forgot the time. Okayama 𓂃 𓈒𓏸 Niwase PONT NEUF I went back home in July to see my longest-time friend A restaurant wedding at Pont Neuf, famous for being the location for the movie "8 Years of Longing". I was looking forward to seeing her as a bride, and it was a heartwarming moment. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a perfect match, and the weather was beautiful. #freehotelstay The Royal Park Hotel is located in the center of Kurashiki and just less than 10 minutes walk from the Kurashiki Bikan Hostorical Center. The exterior of the hotel and the lobby very much followed the industrial design, with a lot of glass windows to bring ín natural lights. The lobby was cool and inviting - aside from the check in desk, there was also a bar by the entrance. Guests could get three free drinks ( although not a big glass) from the self service bar. Check in could be done via the front desk , or at the self service machine. There was also a pool table for guest use in the lobby. The rooms were new and clean, and cushions in the room used fabric that were made in Kurashiki. Bathroom was in decent size, and each room also had a free cosmetic pouch with beauty product samples for the guests. Breakfast had a good selection and was served on the top floor which commanded a panoramic view of the city. Parking was available but on a first come first serve basis, with a fee. Overall we were very pleased with this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kurashiki. #urbanexplorer #japan #kurashiki #hotelinjapan

The quickest way to get to Kurashiki is to take a flight to Osaka Kansai Airport, then transfer to the Namba Train or JR to Osaka city, then transfer to the Shinkansen heading to Kurashiki. If you like the old Japanese style, you might as well visit next time.
