Sao Hin Temple, Uttaradit Province
#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck
Wat Sao Hin, Uttaradit Province
Wat Sao Hin is located in Tambon Si Phanom Mas, Amphoe Laplae, Uttaradit Province. It is an ancient temple that is important in terms of history, art, and local culture. The temple was originally called "Wat Fai Hin" by the locals, reflecting the topography and way of life in the past.
The highlight of Wat Sao Hin is the architecture of the ordination hall, which is beautifully constructed. Inside is the principal Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, Sukhothai art style, with a lap width of approximately 60 inches, which is highly revered by the local people. In addition, within the temple grounds, there is a sala, a vihara, monks' residences, and a pavilion for making merit that is simply designed but full of artistic and religious value.
Wat Sao Hin is also the center of the community's spirits. Buddhist activities are continuously organized, including merit-making ceremonies and the dissemination of Dharma to the general public. It is also an important learning center for those interested in studying Thai art and culture in the North.
Traveling to the temple is convenient. It can be reached by private car or public bus. It is located not far from Uttaradit city.
Wat Sao Hin is therefore an important place that reflects the cultural and spiritual roots of the Laplae people. It is suitable for visiting to pay homage to the sacred objects and absorb the peaceful atmosphere of this temple in the ancient Lanna land.
Wat Don Sak, Uttaradit Province
🙏There is a temple with beautiful teak doors, which can be called one of the 3 pairs in Uttaradit Province. It is assumed that it was built since the late Ayutthaya period because the door has beautiful patterns in the style of Chiang Saen and Sukhothai architecture.
💐The door pillars are decorated with leaf-shaped patterns, alternating with crab-claw patterns. The door panels are carved entirely with scrollwork patterns and mythical animals interspersed with various scrollwork patterns. The patterns on both the left and right doors are completely different.

Ona day Trip, Muang Lablae, Uttaradit Province
"Laplae City", Uttaradit Province, with the legend of "The city where lying is forbidden". I've heard the name and chosen to tell various stories but never had the chance to go. This time, I came from the north and it was a passing through. When I had some time, I decided to come and see what this place had to offer. 👉 Let's start at the "Laplae City Gate Arch"⛩️ Anyone who enters the city must pass through the large golden yellow gate. It is a Sukhothai-style applied art architecture. On the side, there is a monument to the Widow of Laplae City. You can stop by to take a picture first. Then, let's go to the "Indy Rice Wrapped in Vegetables"🥬🥕, a local food of Laplae City. It is made by wrapping various vegetables in flour and baking them until cooked. Eat with dipping sauce. We think it's delicious. This shop also has a variety of menus, such as stir-fried basil rice, red pork rice, noodles, tea, coffee. Come to this one shop and eat everything you need. It's especially crowded during the day. The price is not expensive. After we're full, let's go play in the water at "Mae Pool Waterfall"🏞️. It is an artificial waterfall. It is not naturally occurring. It was created by pouring cement in layers to form a stream. Surrounded by lush nature, it is even more pleasing to the eyes. Seeing this, I want to change into a beautiful outfit to take some pictures. The waterfall looks magnificent after taking a picture. After visiting the waterfall, I stopped by a cafe before going back near "Heuan Lablae" to sip coffee, have some snacks, and intended to eat Long Lablae durian ice cream, but when I got there, it was sold out. The cafe has a beautiful garden, a shady atmosphere, and outside there are seats near the stream. You can soak your feet and sip coffee to relax before heading back. That's the end of my one-day trip to Laplae City. I recommend you come visit. It is a small, peaceful city with not many people. 🚘🚘

Mae Pool Waterfall
#Rainy season attractions
Mae Phlu Waterfall, Laplae District, Uttaradit Province
During the rainy season, there is a lot of water here, making it look beautiful and magnificent. But this waterfall is not naturally occurring. It is a waterfall created by decorating the stream by pouring cement to let the water flow down from a high mountain. It looks like a natural waterfall, multi-tiered. The surrounding area is shady. Near the waterfall is a Langsat garden.
At first glance, you might think that the beauty in front of you is caused by nature. But in fact, this waterfall was created from a stream by pouring cement to make the water flow down in tiers from a high mountain. Amidst a shady and cool atmosphere, near the waterfall is a Langsat garden, a famous fruit of Uttaradit. Interesting highlights Mon Laplae is located on the route to Mae Phlu Waterfall, about 1 kilometer from Si Phanom Mas Intersection. In addition to being a restaurant surrounded by pure nature, this place also has a Mon Laplae weaving house, which collects local Laplae woven fabrics from the past to the present, as well as a Mon Laplae souvenir house for tourists to choose to buy local handicrafts such as woven fabrics, food, souvenirs that are unique to Laplae, seasonal fruits, and healthy drinks. The Lablae Cultural Route offers a tour service along the Lablae Cultural Route and Legend by bicycle with a local guide who will take you to see ancient sites and agricultural tourist attractions.
Durian eating season, Long Lin, Lablae
📌📌📌 Invite to taste Long Lin Lablae durian 👍🏻 The best of Lablae
Anyone who has eaten Lablae durian will definitely love it.
Especially ✨ Long ✨ which has a light aroma, sweet and mellow taste, lots of flesh, flat seeds. If anyone has tried it for the first time, they will know that it is different from other durians. #LaplaeDurian #LongLinLaplae #PaRianGarden
But the best one is ✨ Lin ✨ which has dark yellow flesh, fine texture (very creamy), dry flesh, does not make your hands dirty when eaten, sweet and creamy taste, has a mild smell, can be stored for a long time, the flesh is not soggy, very small flat seeds. Lin is therefore popular as a gift for elders or to eat yourself.
💛 In addition to selling durians, PaRian's garden also offers a durian peeling service for all customers to enjoy in an atmosphere surrounded by durian trees. If any customers want to walk around and experience the durian garden, there is also an area for walking around.
☕️ There is a cafe zone with durian menus for customers to try. There are drinks, cakes, and souvenirs too. 💛✨

INDY Vegetable Wrapped Rice, a must-visit restaurant in Laplae
The shop opens at 9:30. It is a local restaurant in Lablae. The price is not expensive, only 20-25 baht. The plates are very big. We thought the plates were small, so we ordered 5 dishes. 2 people couldn't finish it. The taste is very delicious. People who like vegetables will like it a lot like me. The shop is decorated with many antiques. The decoration is very well-suited. If you come to Uttaradit, you have to come and try it. Don't miss it. You have to come for sure. #Northeastern team #Waiting for the day to travel #Cafe review #Life addicted to cafes #Secret location #Point out delicious restaurants
Secret shop La Liga
A famous shop in Lablae, a source of sweet and savory food and souvenirs. The highlight is that it has been open for a long time, welcoming guests from all over the country. There are many different foods and desserts, including honey toast, pancakes, cakes, and drinks. Today, I tried fresh milk pancakes. The taste is like instant pancakes, which is okay. The good thing is that there are a lot of fruits as side dishes. The atmosphere of the shop is beautifully decorated, cool and comfortable, you can sit all day. #NortheasternTeam #WaitingForDepartureDay #AfternoonTeaReview #CafeReview #LifeAtCafe #PointingOutDeliciousRestaurant
Wat Don Sak, the secret city of Laplae
Wat Don Sak is located in Ban Fai Luang, Laplae District, 9 kilometers from Uttaradit Province. It got its name from the construction of the temple with a single teak tree growing on a natural hill. An interesting thing is the door of Wat Don Sak Temple or the door of Wat Don Sak, which is assumed to have been built in the late Ayutthaya period. The door pillars are decorated with alternating leaf-shaped patterns and crab-claw-shaped patterns. The door is made of carved wood with a curled-stem pattern and mythical animals interspersed with various patterns. It is graceful and beautiful. The left and right doors are not the same, but when closed, the patterns fit together perfectly. It is a pair of ancient carved wooden doors from the Ayutthaya period that are one of the most beautiful in Uttaradit Province. It is also one of the three most beautiful Buddhist doors in Uttaradit Province: the door of Wat Phra Fang Temple, the door of Wat Phra Thaen Sila At Temple, and the door of Wat Don Sak Temple. The door of Wat Don Sak is one of the two important door pairs in Uttaradit Province that still remain to this day. #NortheasternTeam #Waiting for departure day #World Heritage

☕️🏕A small roadside cafe @RIM SUAN Coffee | #Uttaradit🌿🍵
A small cafe with a super cool atmosphere mixed with minimalism ~
.A roadside cafe that I accidentally drove through Nangggg and met with a friend. At first, I drove past and even turned the car around to stop by. That is Rim Suan Coffee - RIM SUAN Coffee!!!
The shop is a small, minimalist shop surrounded by a distant mountain view. Inside the shop, you can sit like a bar with a small area for taking cool photos. The owner is very cute and friendly. Most importantly, the price is not expensive.
The outside of the shop is decorated with seats and a small photo corner to make it look cool. The shop is decorated in a simple, easy on the eyes. If the weather is nice, I recommend the morning and evening. The afternoon might be a bit hot.
The price of drinks starts at 25 baht. Yes, you read that right. It's really 25 baht. And the most expensive one in his shop is 40 baht. It's hard to find a price like this.
Let's say that if anyone passes Nangggg, stop by and try it. Stop by to cool down before continuing your journey, or if you intend to go directly, check the GPS. It's the most accurate. Trust me, try it out. Take some pictures and show me.

Review of Wat Phra Thaen Sila Asan, Uttaradit Province
Wat Phra Thaen Sila Asan is located in Tung Yang Subdistrict, Laplae District, Uttaradit Province. It is a third-class royal temple under the Thammayut Nikaya sect and is considered one of the most important sacred places in Buddhism in the northern part of Thailand.
The highlight of the temple is “Phra Thaen Sila Asan”, a sacred stone platform believed to be the place where the Lord Buddha sat and rested when he visited Jambudvipa in a past life. This laterite platform is a rectangular platform, approximately 8 feet wide, 10 feet long, and 3 feet high, with a base decorated with lotus petal patterns, reflecting valuable ancient art.
The temple also consists of beautiful architecture, including the Ubosot, the Vihara, and the pavilion where the Phra Thaen Sila Asan is enshrined in an elegant manner. There is also a local museum that exhibits utensils and lifestyles of the villagers in the past, such as woven products, fishing tools, and pottery, all of which reflect valuable local wisdom.
Wat Phra Thaen Sila At is also the venue for important religious ceremonies in the province, namely the Phra Thaen Sila At worship ceremony, which is held annually during Makha Bucha Day, with Buddhists from all over the country flocking to participate in the ceremony.
With its peaceful, shady atmosphere and the power of faith, Wat Phra Thaen Sila At is another place worth visiting and paying homage to in order to enhance your life and truly appreciate Thailand’s religious and cultural heritage.
