Hiroshima in an unpopular corner...but the most worth going to 🤍🎎⛩️🦌
1 Day 2 Characters in Hiroshima — Walk around Otake, enjoy art, and cross the sea to worship the Torii at Miyajima
⸻
1 Day Trip 🍃
Start the morning at Ōtake, a small, quiet town in Hiroshima with almost no tourists.
Here we warp into another universe...full of art in old buildings, a small Otaku bookstore, and a cafe decorated in a minimalist Japanese style.
Art lovers will love it because every corner has details, from drawings on the walls to anime posters in front of the store. 💛
We stopped at a coffee shop that served manga-themed lattes and homemade cheesecake—simple but good!
In the afternoon, we traveled to Miyajima.
It took less than 15 minutes to take a ferry from the shore to the island.
We walked straight to Itsukushima Shrine, which has a torii gate standing tall in the middle of the sea.
At low tide, you can walk down to it. The afternoon light hits the red wooden gate. It's magical without editing 📸
Walk around Omotesando Street, buy souvenirs, try some hot mochi, and end the day by watching the sunset from the seaside.
It's simple but fulfilling 🍃
