Stepping into 1868 Cafe at 1868 Sai Wan Street, Macau, is like traveling back to the Portuguese manor in 1868. This old building, which was originally a business house of Jardine Matheson and later converted into the St. Pius X Conservatory of Music, has a Baroque antique decoration on the exterior wall. The interior is dominated by cream ivory white, with wooden elements, retro and modern.
There are indoor and outdoor seats in the store. The outdoor courtyard is quiet and elegant. The afternoon sun shines and the breeze blows, which is very comfortable. There are rich coffee choices, including regular lattes, mochas, and various special coffees, such as iced mocha, which perfectly blends the aroma of milk and coffee beans, and is mellow and heavy. Desserts are also surprising, such as peanut oatmeal latte, which has a strong peanut aroma and dense milk foam; osmanthus latte, the aroma of osmanthus complements the coffee.
The price ranges from 28 to 58 yuan, which is cost-effective. The business hours are 12:00-20:00, and closed on Wednesdays. Come here and enjoy some relaxing time.
