I came here specifically for the first picture, but it is indeed still under renovation. I am very much looking forward to the beautiful scenery when it is completed. You can easily visit these three villages in one day, and the return journey will not be too rushed, but it is still recommended to stay overnight to see the ancient village in the morning. The curling smoke and the red persimmons of the ancient village are another kind of beauty.

Here's a two-day, one-night travel guide to Pingnan, Ningde! I chose the beautiful and less-crowded Pingnan 🏞 for my weekend getaway. Isolated from the world, nestled among mountains and waters, it's perfect for relaxing after a stressful work period. Transportation 🚗: Self-driving. About 3.5 hours from downtown Quanzhou. There's a parking lot in the village, which is very convenient. Accommodation 🏠: We left right after work and chose to stay in Longtan Ancient Town 🏚 (During low season, rooms in the village cost between 100-200 yuan, prices increase during holidays, so remember to book in advance) We arrived at the village at 11:30 PM, and most guesthouses were already closed. Fortunately, many guesthouses had phone numbers and signs displayed, so we called them one by one. We finally chose "You Jia Guesthouse." The hostess was very nice and offered to cook noodles for us since all restaurants were closed, but we politely declined as it was too late to trouble her. 🥤Food: We had meals at Lanzi Restaurant and Er Ge's place.
