Axi Lixi Prairie, located at the junction of three townships in Hezhang County, Guizhou Province, covers an area of over forty square kilometers and has an altitude of more than 2,400 meters. This vast prairie, like a huge green carpet, stretches for dozens of miles, covering a million acres of land. On the prairie, the slopes are gentle, the vegetation is lush, and wildflowers sway gently in the breeze, as if you are in a fairyland surrounded by golden flowers. The Axi Lixi Prairie scenic area is rich and diverse, with attractions such as Ertaipo Prairie, Wanfenglin, Heitang Divine Charm, Yingshui Village Daizhai Mountain and Water Painting, and Shibanh River Creek Waterfall Group, each with its own characteristics. Ertaipo, as one of the core scenic areas of the prairie, means 'slope upon slope.' Here, the mountains undulate, the peaks are lush, larks soar, and cattle and sheep stroll leisurely on the prairie, with shepherd's songs echoing in the air, as if a magnificent painting of the northern prairies. The cattle and sheep on the prairie run freely under the breeze, the green trees and bamboo sway gracefully, and the clear mountain springs flow melodiously, adding endless vivacity to this land. On this magical land, the blue sky and the earth reflect each other, the Cang mountains and ginger grass nestle against each other, and the hard and the gentle intertwine into beautiful paintings, displaying the grandeur and diversity of the Wumeng mountain range.

The Asilisi Grassland features gentle slopes, lush grass, wildflowers everywhere, skylarks soaring, herds of cattle and sheep, and the constant sound of pastoral songs. In the Yi language, Asilisi means 'everyone come together to dance,' reflecting the Yi people's love for life and their friendly nature. The Asilisi Grassland is located in the southeastern part of Hezhang County, Guizhou Province, with the central area being 40 kilometers away from the county town. The grassland is usually off-season from January to December with closing time at 17:00, while the peak season is from March to April with closing time at 18:00. The total area of the grassland is 50 square kilometers, covering the range of 10 villages across 4 townships: Xingfa, Weishe, Baiguo, and Guda.

There is no Guizhou in the west of Sichuan, but there is Asilisi, known for its grasslands. The Ertai Slope Scenic Area is accessible by self-driving for a leisurely stroll. Driving through the wilderness from low to high into Ertai Slope, one is greeted by the spectacle of mountains coming to court, and peaks gathering like a congregation. The roads within the scenic area are one-way, with many parking areas. There are viewing platforms at Tiankeng, Nümao Mountain, and Wanfeng Platform, where you can stop to climb and enjoy the view at leisure. The internet-famous 'Wave Road' adds a unique charm, and if not for time constraints, I would have walked it more than twice. At the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, the grassland is still lush green, with flowers sparsely dotted around. Campers choose their beautiful spots to settle in, enjoying the morning glow and the evening clouds. Cattle, sheep, and horses are the real masters here; they are not as tame as they appear. On the way, we were blocked by a herd of cattle for a long time, focused on filming only to be sneak-attacked from behind by a cow, and even saw a group of cattle snatching kebabs from campers. The Asilisi Grassland, Section Two Slope Take advantage of the holiday to bring the whole family and set off for Guizhou. Our destination this time is the Asilisi Grassland. Route: Depart from Yibin County, navigate directly to Asilisi Section Two Slope. It's mostly highway all the way, taking about four hours. Exiting from Jiuchai Ping costs 175.02. Recently, during the summer vacation, Guizhou highways are half-priced on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays~. After getting off the highway, there is a mountain road to reach the scenic area, and the scenic area also has wavy roads. The road conditions are quite good, and I had no problems driving a Polo the entire way. 2, Tickets: The scenery along the way to the scenic area is also beautiful, but it is recommended to enter the scenic area first and then enjoy the outside scenery after coming out. The ticket price at the scenic area is similar to online, so you can buy directly at the ticket office. For non-special populations, it's half price at 10 yuan per person, and children and the elderly are free of charge (ID required). You can drive your own car in for 100 yuan per vehicle, which includes the driver's ticket. 3, Food: Inside the scenic area, there are mostly cattle and sheep, and vast grasslands. It is advised to bring more water, and for lunch, you can bring self-heating rice meals.
