True to her advice, this shop is always bustling with people. At the entrance, staff are busy preparing tea, and if you talk to them, they’ll guide you inside. "Chè" is a Vietnamese dessert made with tapioca, beans, and various types of jelly, served with milk or coconut milk 🍧. It’s often enjoyed chilled with ice. The "Chè" here is absolutely delicious! 🤤 I especially recommend the mango Chè. [Vietnam Airlines Business Class Boarding Report ✈️ Narita → Hanoi] This flight was from Narita Airport to Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport. The airline I used was Vietnam Airlines. The aircraft was a Boeing 787, and I flew in business class. Seats and Amenities The business class seats are fully flat, so you can stay comfortable even on long flights. The seats are arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, so the two middle seats are just right for couples or friends, but since there is no partition, you may feel a little awkward if you are sitting next to someone you don't know. The blankets are great! The amenity kit is Samsonite! The aircraft feels a little old, so if you have experienced other business flights, it may be a little disappointing 😇 In-flight meals First, drinks are served, followed by a welcome time with nuts. After that, you can choose between an appetizer, warm bread, and a main dish of steak or chicken. I chose steak! It was delicious. For dessert, you can choose from fruit, cake, and Japanese sweets. I chose cake and fruit. All of them had a refined taste, and the in-flight service was very satisfying until the very end. The staff were also kind! [How to transfer to a domestic flight in Hanoi] After arriving in Hanoi, the steps to transfer to a domestic flight are summarized below. 1. Go through immigration You will go through immigration once at the international airport. At this point, you will be given a "Transit sticker" so stick it in a visible place This sticker will be a sign that you are a connecting flight. 2. Receiving and re-checking your luggage After immigration, pick up your checked luggage at the baggage claim area, and check your luggage again at the "transit-only baggage drop" located immediately to the left after leaving the gate. (The location is as of the time of posting) This will allow you to travel to the domestic flight empty-handed. 3. Transfer to the domestic terminal A free shuttle bus runs to the domestic terminal. On the way, there are many solicitations for paid taxis such as Grab, but if you don't need one, you can ignore them. Continue to the shuttle bus stop. As soon as you exit the outside exit where the car is, cross the crosswalk and you will see the bus on your right! [About the congestion at immigration] This time I was using business class, so I was able to pass through immigration smoothly with almost no waiting time. However, the economy class lane was very crowded and there was a long line. My transfer time was about 2 hours, but if you are using economy class, it is safer to have more than 2 hours (this may vary depending on the congestion). Hanoi Airport (Noi Bai) Vietnam is the biggest airport in northern Vietnam, serves the capital city of Hanoi. The airport is located 45 kilometers from the city center. Terminal 2 is the international air, opened at the end of 2014.Ot has 96 check-in counters, ten self-service kiosks, 17 boarding gates and 283 flight information display systems. Domestic flights now operate from Terminal 1. this is not a small cozy airport and not too far away from the main city. For the security check, it is mandatory to take off the shoes so be prepared accordingly. Visit and experience making pottery at Bat Trang Pottery Museum. Bat Trang is a famous craft village located on the banks of the Red River, only about 30 minutes drive from the center of Hanoi. Bat Trang Pottery Museum was built in 2018, inspired by the curves of pottery on the turntable. This is a very attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Unique architecture with many services, check-in space, exhibition area, resort area, dining area, and I am most impressed with the pottery experience area on the G floor. Apart from bánh mì and phở, there’s xôi (sticky rice), a classic Vietnamese breakfast staple that we often enjoy in the mornings. Xôi doesn’t have an overpowering flavor on its own, but it’s slightly savory and comforting. I usually order it with side dishes like pork, egg, or pâté. It’s a light yet filling breakfast that keeps you going for hours. There are typically two ways xôi is served: if you’re eating alone, you’ll get a bowl of sticky rice with toppings neatly arranged on top (pic 1). But if you’re dining with a group, the toppings are usually served on shared plates (pic 2), and everyone gets their own bowl of plain xôi (pic 3). There are many types of xôi, each with its own unique twist. • Xôi xéo is topped with mung bean paste and fried shallots. • Xôi trắng is plain white sticky rice, often paired with savory sides. • Xôi ngô includes sweet corn mixed into the rice. My favorite is xôi xéo + ngô, a perfect combo of mung beans and corn, with a touch of sweetness and richness from the shallots and toppings. It’s warm, soft, and deeply nostalgic. One of the most iconic xôi spots in Hanoi is Xôi Yến. They’ve been around for decades, possibly since my grandparents’ time. #AprilGoodDestinations2025 Hanoi Train Street, just like the Maeklong Railway, is actually passing by us. It is also a well-known tourist attraction next to the 36 Ancient Street. Trains are everywhere and are not uncommon. They are truly close to ordinary people. They are located in residential areas, with quiet coffee shops, ordinary residences, and a few B&Bs on both sides. This makes this a unique shooting spot and also attracts tourists to take photos and check in here. First look at the train departure schedule and arrive at Train Street approximately before the departure time to calculate when the train will pass. The train runs into the narrow alley about every half an hour, and the railway tracks fill the space that should be occupied by the road, which is quite special.

This series was taken in early September 2024, during my week-long stay in Vietnam, traveling from Vui Tinh in the south to Hanoi in the north, covering almost the entire country. To catch the morning fish market in the central coast from a small southwestern border town, I even went without sleep for over 20 hours... After nearly 10 days of early starts and late returns, I came away with this series "Bountiful Vietnam." - 1️⃣&2️⃣ Morning market in Vui Nam 3️⃣ Fish market by the sea in Quang Nam Province 4️⃣ Farmer harvesting water lilies in Long An Province (staged) 5️⃣ Fish drying factory in Phan Thiet 6️⃣ Elderly villager weaving fishing tools in Hung Yen (staged) 7️⃣ Incense drying factory in Hanoi (staged) 8️⃣ Fish sauce factory in Phan Thiet 9️⃣ Soy sauce factory in Hanoi (staged) - Vietnam truly deserves to be called the pinnacle of human aerial photography, with numerous photogenic agricultural, fishing, and handicraft activities across the country. Because so many photographers capture these subjects, and many win awards with these themes, it has led to many staged scenes (as I've noted in parentheses). Local farmers clearly understand what photographers want to capture, performing standard actions with practiced fluidity... If you plan to photograph there, consider how to design new approaches to create fresh perspectives. - I took many photos at each of these locations and will write detailed notes about them in future posts ✌🏻~
