Admission is free. 📍 Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions is located near Plaza de América, not far from Plaza de América. It tells about the art and culture of Andalucia. 📍 Palacio de San Telmo is an old building with beautiful architecture outside. Currently the seat of the Andalusian government. 📍 Torre del Oro is a historical tower located on the riverside, built in the 13th century. 📍 Archivo de Indias (Archives of India) was founded in 1785 by order of King Charles III of Spain. The purpose is to collect and preserve all documents related to the administration and trade of Spanish colonies in the Americas and the Philippines. It is currently an important source of information related to Spanish exploration and colonization, and is also a World Heritage Site. Andalucia Tour ~ Seville If you have time and are interested in Spanish history or architecture it's worth a look. The tour can be completed in 30 minutes. The building is Renaissance, simple but impressive in its scale and simple beauty. It is not a museum per se. Instead it is an archive of all the documents of the Spanish Empire. Don’t expect to see hundreds of pieces, as everything is archived. However, some important documents are on display along with some small temporary exhibitions. Hamon is a raw ham that is cut from the thigh of a pig's hind leg and salted, dried or aged I recommend this ham sandwich as a brunch or snack!
