The Handicraft School is committed to revitalizing Cambodian traditional culture that was destroyed by the Khmer Rouge and the Year of the War. This school specializes in teaching wood carving and stone carving techniques, traditional silk paintings, lacquer crafts and other techniques to impoverished youth. The school is located in a deep road, not far from the old market, with signs on Sivatha St. Part of the retailers profits are used to fund schools and allow more young people to join the training program. After arriving at the school, a Chinese-speaking guide was arranged to guide us to visit. It is free to visit here.
