The old banyan tree on campus is over a hundred years old and is a landmark and spiritual symbol of Tainan City and National Cheng Kung University. The Banyan Garden is open 24 hours a day, all year round and admission is free. There are fish, turtles, ducks...all kinds of creatures in it. Children love to come here, and the small animals always attract the children's attention. Then the children went to the big lawn to play ball, blow bubbles, and run around the big banyan tree. They didn’t want to go home even when they were sweating profusely.
