Tad Khamud Waterfall, the ultimate memory in Southern Laos
It is a very beautiful waterfall. Before going down to see it, I thought to myself that it is just a waterfall, why do I have to go down so far to see it? But my friend insisted that we must go, so we went. When we started walking, I started to like the atmosphere and liked it more and more. There were things to be amazed about along the way down. The distance back and forth is more than 6 km, so I was not tired at all. In fact, I was very happy. When we found the waterfall, everyone was not tired anymore because the waterfall was very beautiful. If you go to southern Laos, find time to go. I will go differently from others. I did not buy a trip. I hired a hunter in the village for 500 baht and the entrance fee is 300 baht. It is very cheap, but you have to go and come back. When you get to the village, ask for the hunter, Ple, who is very kind and lovely.
I recommend that if you want to go back and forth, you have to go early in the morning because it will take a long time to walk and you will have time to stop and see the waterfall.
The Bolaven Plateau (Lao: ພູພຽງບໍລະເວນ, pronounced Phu Phiang Bo Wai) is a plateau in southern Laos, most of which is in Champasak Province. It covers parts of Salavan, Sekong and Attapeu provinces and is located between the Annam Mountains, which form a natural border between Laos and Vietnam to the east, and the Mekong River to the west. The plateau ranges in elevation from about 1,000 to 1,350 metres (3,280 to 4,430 ft) above sea level. The plateau is the source of many rivers and contains many beautiful waterfalls. The name of the Bolaven Plateau refers to the Laven ethnic group that once dominated the region. However, population growth, particularly the Lao ethnic group, who make up about 50 to 60 percent of the country, and internal migration have led to ethnic fusion that has changed the ethnic composition of the region. #NatureTourism #ForestTravel
