Romantic Winter Trip to Biei ❄️
#Travel itinerary
When you think of Sapporo in winter, you think of Ningle Terrace, Christmas trees, etc.
Biei!! We rented a car and went to Biei for 1 night and 2 days, and I will introduce you to our romantic 1 night and 2 days winter Biei course!!
Day 1: Pick up rental car - Sanagawa Rest Area - Baekunjo Onsen - Ningle Terrace - Mart - Accommodation
Day 2: Check out of accommodation - Christmas tree photo spot - Junpei - Shirahige Falls
[Recommended spots]
1. Baekunjo Onsen: Baekunjo Onsen with a really beautiful open-air bath! Biei is the most beautiful and pretty place compared to other tourist attractions.
There is an open-air bath where men and women can bathe, so it is good for couples. On the day we went, there was a lot of snow, but the moment we soaked in the warm hot spring water while the snow piled up above our heads in the open-air bath was truly heavenly and an unforgettable moment👍🏻
2. White Beard Falls: This is the only waterfall that did not freeze in Biei's sub-zero weather. Even though it was snowing again on the day we visited, the hot waterfall water was steaming. I could really feel the greatness of nature!
3. Christmas Tree: Biei is a representative tourist attraction, but if you actually go here, this tree is really the only thing that matters, but the photos come out really well! Be sure to take a great photo here.
[Recommended restaurants]
1. Junpei: This is a place famous for shrimp tempura rice bowls. Everyone who comes on tour goes to this restaurant, and a friend who went there recommended it to me, saying it was really delicious, so I went there. The crispy batter and sweet and salty sauce really went well with the rice. There's a reason it received Michelin! 2. Restaurant in Sanagawa Rest Area: I didn't expect much from eating at a rest area restaurant, thinking that all rest areas would be the same, but guess what? It was really delicious. I don't know if it was because I was hungry, but all four dishes we ordered were delicious and the view was really nice. I thought that even rest areas in Hokkaido are really delicious! I recommend you to stop by if you're renting a car.
【Photo Spots】
1. Christmas Tree Tree: The most famous photo spot in Biei! It's just white snow, blue sky, and a tree that looks like a Christmas tree, but the pictures come out really well. Recommended👍🏻👍🏻
2. Ningle Terrace: Ningle Terrace was so cute and beautiful that it looked like fairies were living there! I recommend going when it's getting dark, and the lights make for great pictures.
【Travel Tips】
Most people who go to Biei use tours, but I
liked the tourist attractions, but the Biei scenery I saw while renting a car was really nice, so I recommend renting a car!!
