When I returned to Taiwan, I made an appointment with my friends to go directly to this huge coffee shop. I heard that the soufflé here is super famous and amazing, so I came to try it. It was really delicious. Because it is freshly made and baked, the waiter will remind you when you order that it will take 20-30 minutes to prepare. You can wait and place your order. You can see the soufflé sizzling when it is served to the table. It is really delicious to eat it while it is hot! 🤤🤤🤤

Unlike typical brunch restaurants and coffee shops, the decor here exudes a refined yet relaxed vibe. It's peaceful without being noisy, and there are various seating options, including sofas and bar counters. All dishes are freshly made to order, so while the wait time might be a bit longer, it's definitely worth it. Highlights: A wide variety of menu options, with an entire display case of cakes and a full circle of bread counters. Caffaina is a chain of cafes in Taichung with a massive selection in desserts and bread items. I have visited other branches too but I find the one in Huilai to be the best in terms of quality and space. The café has one of the best patisseries in town and all of that at reasonable prices. All the croissants pastries are particularly delicious. Since they are quite popular, there will be ques and wait times. Overall, It’s a nice cafe with a good atmosphere.
