Traditional tea house in Japanese vibe
#cityplaybook
As a hardcore tea lover with a deep love for matcha, I was really excited when this place opened—it was one of the early names in Malaysia offering premium matcha, right alongside Niko Neko.
Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. I found the prices steep, especially considering the quality didn’t quite match the tag. The matcha lacked that rich umami depth I look for, and the cakes didn’t stand out either—even when price isn’t the issue.
That said, the ambience is undeniably lovely. If you’re into that warm, wooden, Japanese-inspired aesthetic, it’s definitely worth a visit for the vibe more than the tea.
