It felt like I was transported to Kyoto.⛩️ Every photo I took was stunning. The homestay is located in Sanbao Village. There are many glassblowing and pottery workshops nearby. The homestay has a whiskey bar, and they gave me a discount coupon. However, I had to drive out for late-night snacks, so I didn't go. I enjoyed a very comfortable bath in my room that night. 📍JingDeZhen, Jiangxi Jingdezhen is a very small city in Jiangxi province. This city is famous because it produces so many good quality ceramics. I went here with my school (field trip) for only 2 days 1 night. I got a chance to make my own plate (with clay). It was a fun experience for sure! I made a spongebob plate (i used to like spongebob a lot) but it turned out to be so ugly cause i wasn’t good in art. The buildings are all ancient buildings, felt like i was in Chinese dynasty. so interesting and pretty at the same time. the other thing that amazed me was the hotel. it was the fanciest hotel (i mean the decoration) i’ve ever been too. and come on! it’s in Jingdezhen, the city that i thought everything was just old buildings but i thought wrong.

It is a street of literature and art. There are also several specialty hotels and clothing stores in various ceramic shops. There are many tourists in Taoyi Street. Most astonishing are the painstakingly reassembled rejects—originally smashed and buried for minor flaws—each crack now narrating imperial aesthetics through archaeological jigsaw puzzles. 3️⃣ Taoxichuan by Day and Night Transformed from the state-owned Cosmos Porcelain Factory, this creative district preserves 1950s Soviet-built sawtooth-roofed workshops. By day, pottery masters advise beginners at wheel-throwing studios: "Your fingers should caress the clay like a lover's cheek." At night, illuminated smokestacks become monumental art installations while young artisans discuss new glazes in bars—where tradition and innovation magically fuse. 🍵 Living in the Porcelain Capital The Taoxichuan area housing Pudi Manju Hotel was once factories producing export porcelain in early Communist China. Blue-and-white porcelain lamps and hand-painted bathroom tiles whisper the local aesthetic that "everything here is porcelain." From the rooftop terrace, kiln-shaped museums glow in the distance at dusk, making the entire city resemble a freshly fired crackle-glaze masterpiece.
