A substitute burl tree in the garden of Chuzenji Temple, located around the main hall of Chuzenji Temple. It is an old substitute tree that is said to take on illnesses and suffering in place of your family and yourself. Going all the way to the back and up, there was a hall on a hill called Godaido. I was told that if you pay a prayer fee, the tree will pray for your wishes every morning for a year.
