I started my day with a leisurely stroll through the old town, known as La Ponche. The narrow, cobblestone streets are lined with pastel-colored buildings, chic boutiques, and quaint cafes. I couldn’t resist stopping for a coffee and a croissant at a local patisserie, where I soaked up the morning sun and watched the world go by. ☕🥐 From there, I headed to the iconic Port de Saint-Tropez. The harbor is filled with luxury yachts and offers some serious people-watching opportunities. It’s a great spot to just sit and take in the opulence that Saint-Tropez is known for. I walked along the promenade, admiring the mix of traditional fishing boats and sleek modern yachts, all set against the backdrop of the turquoise sea. 🚤🌊 Next, I visited the Citadelle de Saint-Tropez, which sits atop a hill overlooking the town. The entrance fee was about €4, and it was worth every cent. The views from the top are breathtaking, offering a panoramic vista of the coastline and the town below. The citadel itself is steeped in history, and the Maritime Museum inside gave me a deeper appreciation for Saint-Tropez's nautical past. 🏰🌅 After exploring the citadel, I made my way to the Place des Lices, a bustling square in the heart of the town. On market days, this square comes alive with stalls selling everything from fresh produce to local crafts. Grimaud is such a perfect example! Lost in the ups and downs of the small streets, looking at the beautiful exterior walls dotted with beautiful wisteria... Walk through these streets to the Château de Grimaud, from where you can enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Saint-Tropez. Three, Port-Grimaud Grimaldi Port is a water city that is completely different from other villages in the Saint-Tropez Bay. Five, Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer Between Cavalaire-sur-Mer and Le Lavandou, Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer is a small town that I particularly appreciate in the area.
