Guilin Guide
Day 1: First glimpse of the city emblem, lounging by the pool with mountain views
Upon arrival, head straight to the Guilin Lijiang Cloud Hotel, drop off your luggage, and then rush to Elephant Trunk Hill just 600 meters away to check in at Guilin’s city emblem without the crowds~
Back at the hotel, go straight up to the 9th floor! The Santorini-style terrace and 15-meter-high double infinity pools are amazing. Shoot Instagram-worthy photos during the day, watch the sunset dye the mountain peaks red in the evening, and every moment is full of atmosphere~
In the evening, stroll and eat at Zhengyang Pedestrian Street, then easily walk back to the hotel without feeling tired.
🌙Stay here: Open the window to the view, the room has a super wide perspective, free parking is friendly for self-driving guests, and intangible cultural heritage handicraft experiences (lacquer fans, sachets) are perfect for a leisurely play~
Day 2: Cultural wandering, night scene perfection
In the morning, visit Jingjiang Princes’ City, a 600-year-old Ming dynasty princely mansion full of stories. Try the imperial examination experience; pretending to be an ancient examinee is quite fun~
At noon, move to Gangshe Rooftop View Hotel, first visit East and West Alleys. After tiring from wandering the old alleys, head back to the hotel to rest. The window outside the room faces Duxiu Peak, and looking up is the origin of the saying “Guilin’s landscape is the best under heaven”~
At dusk, rush to the rooftop 270° viewing platform to overlook the entire East and West Alleys. The sunset turns the blue tiles golden, and every shot is wallpaper-worthy~
At night, walk to Two Rivers and Four Lakes. When the Sun and Moon Twin Towers light up, you finally understand why it’s called “the most beautiful night view”~
🌙Stay here: Right downstairs is Zhengyang Food Street, so you can enjoy late-night snacks anytime if you get hungry. The location is so good you won’t want to move~
Day 3: Food feast, slow stroll in the old town
Lunch at Pushi Restaurant (top floor of Gangshe)! Being on the must-eat list for 3 consecutive years is no joke. The sour and spicy snail chicken is satisfyingly tangy, the beer fish is incredibly fresh, and you can enjoy a 270° view of East and West Alleys and the Princes’ City while eating. The scenery is even more appetizing than the food~
In the afternoon, go to Elephant Trunk Hill Gangshe City Core Hotel. The Cultural Palace Food Street downstairs hides local secret delicacies. Queue up for the squid king, then pack some osmanthus cake to eat while strolling.
Don’t want to run around sightseeing? Just stay at the hotel. Within an 800-meter walk, you can pick any attraction you want, focusing on relaxation~
🌙Stay here: Quiet amidst the bustle, peaceful when you return at night, perfect for lying down after a tiring day of walking~
Day 4: Final leisurely stroll, return fully satisfied
In the morning, slowly enjoy a bowl of authentic Guilin rice noodles, then take a photo with an ancient style at Xiaoyao Tower to wrap up. The red walls with distant mountains maximize the ancient vibe~
Finally, buy some osmanthus souvenirs at East and West Alleys, then slowly head back~

Being in Trip.com’s top 5 luxury list is well deserved~ No need to rush for transport or detour, just wake up and start exploring and eating every day. This is what a vacation should be like!
