#MarchGoodPlaces2025 Today, we rode a bicycle from the Guangfu Bridge towpath on the right bank of Xindian River into Banqiao, and took a leisurely cruise along the Dahan River. The most eye-catching part of the entire riverside is the "Fuzhou Art Riverside Park". On the walls of the riverbank, there are interesting paintings imitating famous Chinese and foreign paintings, such as: Picnic by pointillist painter Seurat, Starry Night and Irises by Van Gogh, and Picasso's abstract painting The Lover; what's even more interesting is that the famous painting "Girl with a Pearl Earring" actually ran out of the frame of Millet's The Gleaners and competed with me! Riding across the Crescent Bridge to Yingge or to Tucheng was not my goal; on the way back, I went up the bridge to enjoy the scenery and was shocked by the hundreds of people on the Crescent Bridge. November 2017, 6th #Taiwan Trip: Using #Taipei as a base, carefully tasting #Taichung & #Tainan~ • On the way back to Taipei City after finishing the New Taipei schedule, I found the #新月橋 bus stop in Xinyuehqiao. According to Google Maps, it was very easy to cross the bridge and take the subway here. • I went straight up the bridge... I was lucky to see the scenery of two arches, big and small, which I had not expected, as well as the #Damshui River (#淡水河) around it. Among them, the sky and clouds that showed various appearances because of the rain the day before were the best!! • At the same time, it was fun to see the shape of Xinyuehqiao that changed every time I walked. There were also bicycle paths well-equipped in both directions, and there were many things to enjoy, such as the translucent floor. • When I looked back after crossing the bridge, I could see Taipei 101 in the distance, which was very small. I definitely felt like I was far from the center of Taipei.
