Suzhou Bay East subway station is not far from the hotel, which can directly reach Tongli Ancient Town. There are also attractions such as East Taihu Ecological Park, Wangong Dike, and Suzhou Bay Museum nearby. It is really convenient and fun to travel around. The exterior and lobby are very stylish 🌟 The exterior design of the hotel is very modern and stylish. Walking into the lobby, you are immediately greeted by a high-end atmosphere. The decoration of the lobby is very distinctive, and you can feel the strong Taihu culture. It feels great to take pictures here. The rooms are comfortable and exquisite 🏡 I stayed in a city view room. The decoration style of the room is very fashionable, and the bed is very comfortable. I slept very soundly. They really understand what consumers want when it comes to food, so this Crowne Plaza they've opened far exceeds the brand's standard. My first impression upon arrival was that the modern business-style Crowne Plaza has been transformed. I couldn't see much of its business attributes at this location. For check-in, you no longer have to stand - guests can sit down during the process. Starting from 11 AM, the lobby offers complimentary snacks, fruits, juices, coffee, and tea for hotel guests throughout the day, providing convenience for those who miss breakfast or need to leave in a hurry. The lobby impressed me not just with its luxury but with its vibrant atmosphere created by abundant fresh flowers, which reflects the hotel's daily operational standards and maintenance. Throughout various public spaces, you can see fresh flowers. Through the Crowne Plaza Suzhou Donghu Lake, you can tell whether a hotel wants to do well, is being properly operated, or is just doing the bare minimum - consumers have their own measuring stick for this. I stayed in a Presidential Suite with an area of 92 square meters. The room makes you redefine the Crowne Plaza brand - my first thought was that it exceeds expectations. Crowne Plaza Suzhou Dong Taihu Lake Super convenient location 📍 On my recent trip to Suzhou, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Suzhou Dong Taihu Lake, and the location was absolutely perfect! It's right by Taihu Lake, so you step right out into the beautiful lakeside scenery. There are also many fun places nearby, such as the Dong Taihu Ecological Park, which is full of lush trees and clear lake water, perfect for strolling and taking photos. There's also the Taihu Bay Wetland Park, where you can see lots of water birds – a great place to take kids to connect with nature. Excellent Fitness Facilities 💪 The hotel's fitness facilities were a pleasant surprise. The gym is fully equipped with treadmills, elliptical machines, dumbbells, and everything else you could need. I was able to work out every morning, getting a good sweat and feeling energized for the whole day. There's also a huge indoor heated pool with a comfortable water temperature. Soaking in the pool while enjoying the lake view outside the window was incredibly relaxing. What surprised me most was the children's play area, which is full of fun toys and play equipment. My nephew had so much fun there that he didn't want to leave, which allowed me to enjoy some time to myself. Great Value for Money 💰 I was initially worried that such a nice hotel would be expensive, but the price was actually quite reasonable. The rooms are well-equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. After a night's sleep, I felt completely refreshed. ☕Afternoon Tea We had afternoon tea on two days, Saturday and Sunday. There is actually not much difference in the meals provided for the two days. They are mainly fried chicken, pizza, drinks, desserts, bread, etc. You can see that they are all pre-prepared dishes, but the quality is okay, and the fried chicken nuggets are very solid. The biggest difference between Saturday and Sunday is the difference in the flow of people🥹! 📋When we went there on Saturday, the lounge was basically full. The whole environment was crowded and a bit noisy. Because there were so many people and we went there late, the desserts and bread were all gone. 📋I found that there were basically no people in the lounge on Sunday, with maybe one or two tables of guests. The environment was relatively quiet, very suitable for working or reading. 🍱Happy Hour The light meal is actually equivalent to dinner. The overall meal is still very rich, including hot dishes, hot soup, staple food, drinks, fruits, and desserts. Particularly worth mentioning is the golden brick foie gras and caviar. Because it was Saturday, there were a lot of people staying in the hotel and there were also a lot of people sitting in the executive lounge. When dinner started at 5pm, a lot of people were already seated at 4:40 or 50pm. There were so many people that it was impossible to squeeze into the crowd to get food when the meal started at 5 o'clock. Although the caviar and foie gras were almost sold out after 5 o'clock, the hotel still had sufficient supply of both, and the staff came to replenish them soon. Compared with caviar, I feel that foie gras is more attractive to me. It is icy and melts in the mouth, and has a slightly sweet aftertaste. But in fact, it is still a bit greasy to eat a large piece. For me, eating one piece is enough. At first I didn't quite understand why there was a number card on the table. The desk in the living room has a bold color scheme, perhaps echoing the blue-green theme of the lobby. The room has large floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides. The white curtains and sheers can be controlled electronically, which is very convenient. I didn't notice it at night when I checked in, but during the day, I found that the right side of the room actually has a view of East Taihu Lake. Although the bathroom has two sinks, only one has a mirror 🪞. Both of us prefer 🥰 using the sink with a mirror. The minibar in the suite is free 🆓 to use. After making a round of all the sections, I unknowingly picked up a lot of food. I tried the freshly cooked braised pork noodles. The soup base was delicious, and the noodles coated in the soup were very tasty 😋. On Sunday morning, there were quite a few guests, and when we went to the restaurant around 9:00, we had to queue.
