A very cost-effective skewer restaurant in Mong Kok!
Rough shop barbecue
A few days ago, I passed by XX Arcade in Mong Kok and saw a skewer shop called "Rough Shop BBQ". The price was posted on the door. It was more attractive than the price of $38 for two grilled oysters. I went in to eat!
This skewer shop door is the same level, and when I deployed my sloping board, I sat down not long after a lot of people came in to eat, quickly seated 80 percent, quite popular! 👍👍👍
1. Chicken Bone Sausage (1) $16 (8.5/10)
I ordered 2 chicken bone sausages, unlike regular sausages, which had a filling like chicken cartilage, but softer than cartilage, very crunchy, a sound during the bite of the sausage, quite tasty! 👍
2. Chicken skin (2 skewers) $22 (9/10)
This price is very reasonable, 2 strings of chicken skin is $22, not greasy, very crispy! 👍👍
3. Beef skewers (2 skewers) $36 (9/10)
This beef skewers are very juicy and beefy. The meat is not tough, not tough or dry. There are 5 pieces of beef in 1 skewer. It's very cheap! 😋😋
4. Grilled Whole Squid (1 Skewer) $34 (10/10)
The whole grilled squid is very big, as big as my face. The squid is soft and tender, and has juicy meat. It doesn't burn like a rubber band. It's super delicious! 😋😋😋
5. Saury (1) $38 (8.5/10)
This saury is very fresh, the fish is not plum, but there are quite a lot of bones. Luckily I am a bone master. If a restaurant holds a bone competition, you might as well contact me, haha! 🤣🤣🤣
6. Springfish (2) $20 (7.5/10)
I ordered 4 spring fish, the clerk said this batch of spring fish without spring, a little disappointed, but grilled enough fragrant, next time if you eat spring is better! 👍
7. Sea Prawns (2 skewers) $36 (9/10)
I ordered 4 skewers, each shrimp was very fresh, the shrimp meat was very crispy and bouncy, and fresh and sweet, good! 😋😋
8. Grilled Oysters (2) $38 (10/10)
Oysters have always been my favorite, and this skewer shop recently had a special offer for grilled oysters, only $19 to eat 1, and these 2 are quite large and full, each is very fresh and sweet, only the black part of the oysters may have been grilled a little longer, a little tough, overall very satisfied! 👍👍👍
9. Grilled Large Scallops (1) $32 (10/10)
I ordered 2 large scallops, the scallops were quite large, each was very sweet and clear, and had vermicelli as a base, very tasty! 😋😋😋
10. Tiger Pepper (1 skewer) $16 (8/10)
I ordered 4 strings of tiger skin green peppers, so far the spiciest tiger skin green peppers I've ever eaten in my life, really whole grilled, without taking away a little chili seeds, simply spicy to fly, like to eat spicy friends can challenge! 👍
11. Corn (1 skewer) $18 (9/10)
1 string of two pieces of cut corn, very sweet and not dry! 😋😋
12. Grilled Pineapple (1 Skewer) $18 (9/10)
This skewer of grilled pineapple is sweet and juicy. There are 3 pieces of pineapple in 1 skewer! 👍👍
13. Tin Foil Mushrooms $34 (10/10)
I ordered two bags of tin foil mushrooms. These tinfoil mushrooms did not add any seven-spice powder and cumin powder. They were healthy enough to eat, very authentic, and the mushrooms were juicy. They were very good! 😋😋😋
14. Tin Foil Clams $56 (8/10)
There are about 15 mussels in this bag of mussels. The mussels have no sand and the flesh is big and small. It's quite good! 👍
15. Tin Foil Baby Cabbage $34 (9/10)
This bag of baby cabbage has about 8 slices of vegetables. Onions are added to the baby cabbage. The vegetables themselves are juicy and fresh!
16. Coke $15 (9/10)
I ordered two cans of soda to drink, although it was a little expensive, but I had to earn and quench my thirst!
Total price for 2 people is $730, plus 10% service charge!
Total Personal Taste Rating: 9.03/10
