I had a schedule on Friday, but it was suddenly canceled, so I had a free day. I thought it was time, so I went on a trip to Daejeon, which I had only thought about! Many people say that Daejeon has nothing to see other than Seongsim Church, and that it is a boring city, but after traveling to Daejeon, I want to disagree with that statement^^ I also wrote down the photo locations below😚#DaejeonTravel 1. 📍Daejeon Dong-gu Dongdaejeon-ro 110beongil 182 This is a neighborhood park located in Daejeon Daedong. A mural village has been created on the way to Sky Park. If you walk slowly and look at the fun and beautiful murals, you can arrive at Daedong Sky Park. You can easily get there if you have a car, but the road is very narrow because it is an alley. Sky Park is not very high, so I recommend walking up to it as if you are taking a simple stroll. This is the best sunset restaurant in Daejeon. #Daejeon Travel 📌Daedong Solidarity Cafe Come down the alley at 207, Dongdaejeon-ro 110beongil, Dong-gu, Daejeon! ➖➖➖➖➖ I realized that the cafe name was Daedong because the neighborhood name was Daedong. The murals were cute and pretty. If you go up while taking a certification shot at the mural village, you will see the cafe Daedong Solidarity with a great view. It is vintage and feels like you are at your grandmother's house. The props are fun and it is a great cafe to take certification shots here and there. Each seat is unique, so it is a place that will be remembered a lot during your 2-day, 1-night trip to Daejeon! #TravelingMoon Daejeon Makchang Sundae Restaurant ✨️Daedong Sundae✨️ is a sundae restaurant in Daejeon that has been sticking to handmade sundae for about 25 years. This place is Daedong Sundae, located near Munhwa Overpass in Munhwa-dong, Daejeon, and is run by CEO Sim Soon-geum. This restaurant is known for making sundae in the traditional way every other day. Daedong Sundae's signature menu is Makchang Sundae. This Makchang Sundae is a menu that can be found quite often in Jeonju and other regions, but it is hard to find a restaurant that makes Makchang Sundae well in Daejeon. This Makchang Sundae has a strong pork smell even if it is prepared slightly incorrectly, so it is difficult for me to eat (but there are people who really like this taste), but this place does not have that much of a smell. This Makchang Sundae is the end of the pig's intestine, and the more you chew it, the more savory the taste and the chewy texture it has, so it is popular for grilling. Daedong Sundae's Makchang is filled with tofu, glass noodles, onions, cabbage, and blood sausage. It’s a little salty for my taste (to remove the offal), but the mild flavor of the yangbae-woo, tofu, and glass noodles, and the blood sausage balance the flavor quite well. The makchang of Daedong Sundae is the makchang brought from the Nonsan slaughterhouse, and they say that they remove the fat lumps attached to the intestines one by one by hand, turn the makchang over, and rub it with coarse salt to remove the goblin inside the tripe. They say that they put the tofu, blood sausage, glass noodles, cabbage, and other ingredients mentioned above into the cleaned makchang and season it with garlic, scallions, pepper, salt, etc. and boil it in plain water for about an hour. The reason they boil it in plain water is to give the sundae a clean taste. The sundae made this way is said to be aged for about a day and then soaked in broth for about 5 minutes before being served to guests. The soup that comes with the sundae order is spicier than it looks, and it masks the rich taste of the sundae, so the alcohol goes down smoothly and you wake up after sleeping for 32 hours.
