[2025 Ulsan Attraction] Travel Guide for Daewangam Park (Updated Jul)

In the morning, take the KTX from Busan to Ulsan in 20 minutes. The transportation here is not very convenient. Most of the tourists are Koreans who drive themselves, and there are very few foreign tourists🤔. 🚕After arriving at Ulsan KTX Station, take a taxi to the Whale Museum (the bus interval is long), which costs about 30,000 won and takes 40 minutes. 🎫The package of Whale Museum, Ecological Museum, Cultural Village and some ship costs more than 7,000 won, and the monorail ticket costs more than 10,000 won per person. 🚋The train goes to the Cultural Village and you can get off or take it back to the starting point. After getting off the train and visiting the Cultural Village, you can also stroll around the nearby small park. The weather is so beautiful. 🚋Afterwards, we took a small train back to the museum. The whale museum is very small and it only takes ten minutes to visit the three floors. Go to the Ecological Experience Hall next door and you can see active dolphins🐬. I originally wanted to go to a seaside cafe, but gave up because it was too far. Then take a taxi to Daewangam Park (about 14,000 won). 🌳This park is super beautiful, the seaside boardwalk is great, and there is a long suspension bridge. You can see the clear sea and many jellyfish! It's very comfortable to walk around and you can stay for an hour or two. 🚌Finally, take the red luxury bus from the park back to KTX station, wait for about 40 minutes, and then take a one and a half hour bus back to KTX station (3900 won). 🎉In general, Ulsan’s public transportation is not very convenient, but taxis are convenient, so it is still worth visiting. It is suitable for kids who are playing in Busan for four or five days to come and visit for a day.

Daewangam Park has a really well-maintained walking path, and there are so many things to see that I think many people are satisfied after visiting Daewangam Park once. This time, I got a chance to visit Haenyeo Village 😉 I heard that one plate costs 30,000 won, but we ordered a set meal and ate for 50,000 won!
