[2025 Shanghai ] Travel Guide for Disney Pixar Toy Story (Updated Jul)

Period between sunset and dusk is the most magical time. It’s still light in the sky that’s why photos look more magical. We caught few amazing moments in Disney during our journey. Disney park is so big and there are a lot of people every day but it still possible to find small spots for a good photo. Best time to visit Disney park is 12-6 pm, in my opinion. But it is open till 10 pm so u can choose your own time😍

Another great park by Disney, one not to be missed!! We spent a long day in here and enjoyed every second of it. If you're coming to ride the Rise of the Resistance, you need to get in the park well before it opens, and use the app to book your place. You'll only have a very short time, 20 seconds to secure your ride for the day. We did, and the ride was GREAT!! we love it. though it’s tiring but it is worth it 😊 #staycation #themepark

Inside, there’s a walkthrough attraction called “Once Upon a Time Adventure,” a table-service restaurant, and even a boat ride beneath it.

#discoverchina We hung around the Toy Story Land at Shanghai Disney Resort, soaking in the vibrant, playful atmosphere. The area was bursting with colorful decorations—oversized toys, building blocks, and cheerful string lights made us feel like we’d shrunk down to the size of Andy’s toys. Bright reds, yellows, and blues filled every corner, from the giant Rex statue to the towering Woody figure welcoming guests. The whimsical details, like alphabet blocks and coiled springs as barriers, added charm and nostalgia. We wandered around snapping photos, laughing at the fun signs and enjoying the upbeat music in the background. It truly felt like stepping into a living, breathing Toy Story world.

#ChinaTravelMoment There is also time to take pictures with Toy Story characters. The line was longer than I thought, so I had to wait about 20 minutes and then I was able to take pictures. I think it's because you can take multiple pictures in various poses. Try taking pictures in the Toy Story zone!

We spent our full day for Disneyland Shanghai Resort. The que at this site is very long but the management is quite good. Hopefully we be able get back there again. The firework in the last time of operating hour is quite spectacular and there is a long run time of fireworks shooting. Such a wonderfully moment. #disneyland_shanghai #disneyland

#timetotravel Inside Disney in Shanghai are 4 worlds. One of them are the Toy Story world- my absolute favorite! Why? Because stepping in here it’s like becoming a tiny tiny child again - except this time you have shrunk and you are now just a few centimeters high. it’s amazing everywhere you look you will see big statue of toys!! you will see the dinosaur, you’ll see the pig and giant Christmas light hanging around. They have 3 beautiful rides- all forms from toys. The hot wheels, super scary , the spinning dog- not for the person who easily get dizzy and the horse ride- my favorite! Don’t skip this park just because it’s a kids them!! I promise you - you will love it !

We only stayed one night at the Toy Story Hotel. The room is correct, comfortable bed , very clean bathroom ( great!!) and early pass to Disney resort with the shuttle bus ( no need to queue at the main entrance) We will be back again!!

The Toy Story Park is a newly added area, including three new rides and a theme area to meet Disney friends. You will feel like you are down to the size of the toy in the movie and play in this immersive park. . There are not only various experience projects that children like, but also a more exciting hug dragon racing car. When adults go up, they will scream instantly and the adrenal glands will soar. The spring dog group and a unique theme area friendship meeting with Disney friends are very popular among the children, because it was just opened this year and it is very popular.
