While in Malacca, I made a little detour to check out Encore Melaka — and let’s be real, I mainly went for the aesthetic. Tucked away near the Melaka Waterfront, Encore isn’t your typical heritage site. This place is futuristic, minimal, and dramatic, with bold architecture that makes it feel like it landed straight out of a movie set. The huge, angular white building with its iconic blue-toned reflective panels stands out against the skyline — you honestly can’t miss it. I didn’t go for the show this time — just came to explore the space and snap some photos. And wow, it's a photographer’s dream. The contrast of the white facade, the symmetry, the light bouncing off the panels... chef's kiss. Every corner feels like a frame-worthy shot waiting to happen. What I love about Encore is how it brings something completely modern into a city known for its historical charm — and somehow, it still fits. The space is calm, clean, and surprisingly peaceful, especially in the late afternoon when the light softens. Felt like a full-time explorer, part-time pirate. A 360-degree rotating stage, beautiful lighting, and a performance that covered 600 years of Melakan history with goosebump-level storytelling. Stayed here for a quick rest and honestly... 10/10 would book again. The receptionist in the office & the guard are very helpful despite the fact that I booked the hotel in Trip apps at 11pm & checked in at 1am. Receptionist: If u are ever need confirmation of the car parking slot (to avoid car clamping), lack of necessity in the house, receptionist are easy to communicate with. u can just wassap to them & thy reply instantly despite I wassap them at 1am since I got confused with the parking layout. between the guest parking slot & owner parking slot. Location: perfect. 5–10 mins from Jonker Street, A Famosa, and etc. But the most nearer is The Encore Melaka. If you are staying here, for a long time, u can go visit the 3D theatre here. only 5 mins from the Amber Cove apartment. Room: Clean, comfy, and comes with aircond, fridge, washing machine and even a mini kitchen (in case you miss cooking... or just want to reheat snacks). Views: Sunset hits different here and very pretty to take photo since it have the sea-view sights. Bonus: Each house in Amber Cove apartment provide tv in the living room. Things like Pool, kids' area, gym, game room, are up to it except like game room need to be booked at the receptionist before entering and there's time schedule to access the facilities tht provide. oh, and did I mention Netflix? U can enjoy tht since its available in tv and hv wifi provided. Great for families, couples, or tired adults who just want to nap somewhere peaceful. The show is worth watching, good content, stage with great effects, the show lasts 70 minutes, not too long and not too short. Next to the theater is the beach, you should go see the 5:30 pm show to be able to watch the beautiful sunset.

Last year in December my family and I went to Singapore and Malaysia. First we went to the zoo and we saw lots of monkeys and animals. We also went to the water park, it was very fun because there were buckets of water splashing everywhere and my sister and I got really wet. The next day my mum and dad took us to Universal Studios at Sentosa Island. It was so big with lots of things to do. My favourite ride was the 3D transformers ride. In Malaysia, we went to visit my cousins and stayed at their house for a few days. My cousins had a big double storey house with lots of chickens, roosters and even a swimming pool. We did lots of shopping and eating. My favourite food was Burger King and Prata. My favourite drink was called Bandung, it is a cold rose milk drink in ice. It was so yum. My holiday was so much fun and I can’t wait to go there again.#awesomepic

Melaka is a small city in Malaysia which is declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO.
