I checked into a little Song Dynasty in Jingdezhen
Just returned from Jingdezhen after staying at this amazing boutique hotel called "Flower Town·Jingyuan"! Nestled inside the ancient city walls, it felt like stepping right into a history book📖
The place embodies "Song Dynasty aesthetics" with such elegant and poetic surroundings. The whole property resembles a Jiangnan-style garden, complete with little bridges over flowing water, pavilions, rockeries, and winding paths - all arranged with exquisite taste. The walls are embedded with antique porcelain fragments where blue-and-white patterns subtly appear, creating this beautiful dialogue between history and modernity. I especially loved the tea pavilion - sipping Fuliang tea while reading, and before I knew it, the whole afternoon had slipped away in perfect relaxation🫖
I stayed in a standalone loft! With its blue bricks, gray tiles, and wooden structure, it was simple yet full of character. Bamboo rustled along the paths, and the cobblestone walkways meandered beautifully. Waking up to birdsong and stargazing at night gave such a peaceful escape from the city - I truly felt that misty "Little Qinhuai" atmosphere🌱
The room was incredibly atmospheric too! Carved windows, plain curtains against the backdrop of bluestone paths outside created picture-perfect views. It almost felt like I could see ancient merchant caravans transporting porcelain and tea - the scene from Bai Juyi's poem "Last month I went to Fuliang to buy tea" seemed to come alive before my eyes.
Staying here was more like a thousand-year cultural journey. History was tangible in every brick and tile, while art became the very air you breathed. It perfectly blended the refined elegance of Song Dynasty with modern comforts👍🏻
Best part? It's super close (just 5km) to Jingdezhen's Taoxichuan Creative District - super convenient for exploring markets and exhibitions! The hotel has all amenities: breakfast room, gym, laundry, plus that lovely tea room I adored! Before leaving, you can even pick a ceramic bracelet as a souvenir🎁! If you're looking for historic charm, photogenic spots, and convenient location in Jingdezhen📍Flower Town Jingyuan comes highly recommended👌🏻 A truly poetic retreat that's both secluded and accessible✔️
