Watch as the scenery transforms from the airport's open spaces to the city's bustling views - it's an experience in itself. 2. **High-Speed Rail Stations**: Fuzhou has two main stations: Fuzhou Station and Fuzhou South Station. Must-Visit Attractions 1. **Three Lanes and Seven Alleys**: This is a must-visit spot in Fuzhou! Walking through the narrow alleys feels like traveling through time, with modern history embedded in every brick and tile. You'll find distinctive ancient architecture, each building with its unique style and story; various local delicacies from soft taro paste to fragrant meat yan; and creative shops filled with Fuzhou-style souvenirs. The Love Tree is a must-photograph spot - capture a beautiful memory of your time in Fuzhou. Note that some historical residences are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so weekend visits are recommended. While the area is open 24/7, historical residences and museums operate from 9AM to 6PM. 2. **Yantai Mountain**: Before leaving Fuzhou, explore Yantai Mountain thoroughly. 🤩 If you are traveling to Fuzhou, don't miss Fudao, which was nominated by National Geographic as one of the world's top 10 most beautiful walkways! 🌳 Even if you only walk a short distance, you can still enjoy the city's leisurely atmosphere of "walking around the mountain and overlooking the city from the air." ✅ Fudao introduction: Fudao is in a prime location, with its central axis along the ridge of Jinniu Mountain, and it runs through five major parks in Fuzhou (Zuo Hai, Meifeng Mountain, Jinniu Mountain Sports, Guoguang, and Jinniu Mountain). 🔹 You can hike and exercise, with a total length of about 7 km. 🔹 You can climb high and look far, with a panoramic view of the city and the Minjiang River. 🔹 You can visit the parks, such as Azalea Valley, Cherry Blossom Garden, Purple Bamboo Forest, Cliff Carvings, and Orchid Creek. 🔹 You can also have a drink in a teahouse and spend your time leisurely. ✅ Guide: ❗ Full of energy: Enter from Entrance 1 → Exit 5, I took 2.5 hours and walked 7 km. ❗ Limited time: You can enter from Entrance 3 → Exit 5. ❗ Extremely limited time: Enter from Entrance 5, climb high and look far, and then return to Entrance 5. ✅ My own route: Entrance 1 (Xiangshan Tunnel) ➡️ Entrance 3 (see Metasequoia, December) ➡️ Entrance 7 (18 bends of mountain road) ➡️ Entrance 5 (there is the highest viewing platform nearby with excellent scenery) ✅ Talk about each place separately: 1️⃣ Entrance 1: Near Xiangshan Tunnel, close to Fujian Museum, Zuo Hai Park/West Lake Park is also nearby. Summary: ✅ I originally planned to go to the museum, but I didn't have enough time, so I went to Fudao directly from Entrance 1. ✅ If you have limited time, enter from Entrance 3 and exit from Entrance 5, and you will see all the highlights. ✅ If you want to see the night view of the lights, when it is not dark, it is recommended to go up from Entrance 5 to see the sunset, and go down from Entrance 3 to see the lights. If you don't have enough time or it is dark, go directly to Entrance 3. ✅ If you want to see the sunset and river view, you can go to Entrance 5 or go down to Entrance 6/7. ⚠️ Opening hours: 6:00–22:00, it is recommended to leave before 21:30 to avoid the lights going out.

As a travel enthusiast, my trip to Fuzhou in May allowed me to find a perfect balance between the dreaminess of Pingtan Island and the hustle and bustle of the city. Day 1: Pingtan Tears and Island Scenery Depart from Fuzhou early in the morning and take the bullet train for about 1 hour to reach Pingtan Island. The first stop is Beigang Village, where the stone houses are scattered in an orderly manner, and the sound of waves and the turning of windmills are interwoven into a poem. In the afternoon, rent an electric bike to ride the [Most Beautiful Road Around the Island]. The blue sea, blue sky and white windmills make you feel like you are in a movie scene. Order a cup of jasmine tea in a cafe by the Minjiang River and feel the former prosperity of the "Shuanghang merchants". In the evening, we climbed up the Fudao Fudao Skywalk, an aerial walkway that winds through the mountains. The 19-kilometer hollow steel frame design is full of futuristic sense. When we reached the observation deck, the setting sun dyed the entire Rongcheng golden, and the Minjiang River passed through the city like a ribbon, perfectly ending the two-day journey. Day 2: Chasing Tears in Pingtan Headed to Pingtan early in the morning, with Tannan Bay as our first stop. The sand was fine as silver, the water crystal clear to the bottom, and we captured the viral "trailing beach" perspective with a drone. In the afternoon, we explored Xianren Well, where waves roared through natural sea caves, and took thrilling yet breathtaking photos on the cliff. Fuzhou Family Trip: Bringing the blessed to the blessed city🏮The second stop of our 2025 family trip was Fuzhou, a city with a strong Spring Festival atmosphere, during the Chinese New Year.🧨 Our six-day, five-night itinerary was as follows: D1: Arrive at the airport in the afternoon, dine at: Zhu Fugui D2: Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, Shangxiahang, dine at: Ziyang Seafood Restaurant D3: Yantaishan Park, Strait Culture and Art Centre (visit the Barbie Fish Hotel exhibition) D4: Fudao (Fuzhou Urban Greenway), dine at: Long Ji · Zhongshan Crispy Meat Wan Hot Pot D5: Watch the You Shen parade in Liren Village, watch the Mazu parade in Lianjiang County, dine at: Zhu Fugui (second visit) D6: Visit the 17-arch bridge in Changle, play on the beach and dig in the sand, return in the afternoon We had some concerns about taking our 21-month-old baby to see the You Shen parade. We were worried about the firecrackers🧨scaring her and that she might get bored and restless. However, she was very interested in the parade. We told her that these were gods from heaven, protecting mortals and keeping them safe and healthy, so she shouldn't be afraid. The firecrackers were really loud, but we just covered her ears tightly. Northerners are really shocked by the You Shen parade. Fuzhou's Spring Festival atmosphere is much richer than in the north!! We originally wanted to go to Pingtan Island to see the sea, but it was really cold and overcast in Fuzhou. Even though the weather forecast said it would be 20 degrees, it felt like around 5 degrees in the north. We don't recommend going to the beach in winter. The sea isn't as beautiful, and the wind is strong.🌬️ Fudao is really suitable for taking children for a walk. We saw many parents with one-year-old babies there. You can push a stroller the whole way, so it's not tiring for moms, and the little ones were also very well-behaved and could walk by themselves for a long time. The best part of this trip was Zhu Fugui. Our little one ate so much, like 10 mantis shrimps + 4 scallops in one go. The adults also ate seafood until we were full. The seafood here is much more affordable than in the north.🙋

Recommended: Wangzhuang Ami Food Stall (Seafood Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Taro Paste). -Erlongbo Yuanxiao (Sesame Savory Yuanxiao). 🚄 Return: Afternoon itinerary: End the tour before 15:00, it is recommended to take the G1609 high-speed train (Fuzhou Station → Shenzhen North, 15:50–21:07). If you have enough time, you can also go to: West Lake Park (boating and plum viewing), Yantaishan Historical District (literary cafes). 📝 Tips ✔️1. Transportation card: Get the "Fuzhou Metro Ride Code" on Alipay, which can be used for both buses and subways. ✔️2. Pitfall reminder: *There are long queues for the Gushan cable car on weekends, it is recommended to arrive 1 hour in advance; avoid buying expensive handicrafts on Sanfang Qixiang Commercial Street.
