🇯🇵 Tokyo Nihonbashi "Fukutoku Shrine" ⁡ ⁡ A small shrine located right next to the shopping spot "COREDO Muromachi" in the valley between skyscrapers in Nihonbashi, the very center of Edo. ⁡ It has been enshrined here since the Jogan era (859-876), and it is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu also visited it. ⁡ ⁡ During the Edo period, this shrine was one of the few shrines that issued a shogunate-approved tomikuji (a lottery-like ticket). ⁡ It has a deep connection with lotteries, and many people visit to pray for a lottery, in honor of its blessed name. It is also a power spot that brings good fortune in money^^* ⁡ ⁡ This time, [Tango no Sekku limited] Eaves iris picture cards and wishing carp streamers. ⁡ The iris picture cards are replicas of the "eaves iris" that were hung from the eaves of houses in the Edo period.
