What a steal. The hotel seems to be very popular and the Front Desk area is very crowded. While they have auto check-in machines, I prefer to be attended by a staff hoping that they can give me an upgrade for my birthday. My wish came true and they indeed upgraded me to a club room on a high floor. The hotel reception is quite big and spacious. Seems to have gone through some renovations. When we reached the room, I was a bit disappointed as it still look yesteryear. Cleanliness standard is still good but the tv wasn’t working well despite getting the technician to attend to it twice. Was wondering if it’s really a club room. However the view is great. Unblocked facing Great World City. Just a short walk there for my birthday dinner. It’s a tourist class hotel where I see many tourists from India, Indonesia and the Philippines. I will try other hotels in the vicinity at the next opportunity unless another great deal comes along. #staycation #furama #tripblazers

Price per Person - $66 Rating -4.5/5 Booked this club room during a sale. Before checking in, I was pretty worried and anxious after going through tons of reviews on other platforms. The feedbacks were overwhelmingly bad for the month of September and October. my stay was in November… 😭. I remember guests were complaining about strained floor carpet, small rooms, late check in, noisy and other issues. Luckily I did not face any of the issues I saw 😅. I had a smooth check in and the amenities in my room were all in good working condition. I had my afternoon refreshment at level two, which is like a cramped lounge area because the main lounge area at level 1, where the iconic waterfall is located, was being used for a wedding. Then unpleasantly, I was informed that my club benefits only entitles me to the coffee and tea at the lounge and I have to pay for the food(lunch buffet). This was not disclosed or stated explicitly by the hotel when they listed their club privileges. Luckily, I enjoyed my relaxation time a lot with the spacious oval bath tub in the room and the jacuzzi located at the swimming pool. The evening canapés was also pretty decent. I thoroughly enjoyed the oyster with cheese and the satay. To end off, It was an awesome deal for me at $134/night. I enjoyed my stay a lot. But it would have been a near perfect experience if the staffs had being more welcoming and exhibited more “5 star”hospitality during certain interactions.

Booked a night in the executive room all thanks to the voucher and finally check-in after numerous reschedule. But i have to say the stay was not satisfying for me. Firstly, the room given was different from the photo especially the difference in the bathtub. The receptionist say its because I requested for twin bedded room so I have no say on it. Secondly, the tv only has local channels and not a single cable tv channels which is very disappointing for me since i stayed in the room most of the time and what's worst is that the tv will hang every few minutes! I've notified the receptionist about it but there isn't any staff who came to check on it. Thirdly, the club lounge benefit does not tally with what was promised in the package. The package indicates that there's all day refreshments given in the lounge but according to the staff, only drinks and food given during the cocktail hours are complimentary. Lastly, the bathroom does not have bidet and ceiling showers which makes it difficult for me clean up after using the toilet. One thing to take note is they do not have a proper lounge and the breakfast are organised in a ballroom. If you prefer the live egg station during breakfast, you'll be disappointed to know that there isn't one. However, i do like the modern and open up concept of the lobby which offers microwave and extra consumables if you require all in one place. The swimming pool is decent with a standard pool and jacuzzi.

Hotel is located in the central area with many restaurants and food around . Restaurant dinner buffet is good as the quality of food is much better as never do I expect it to be . Hotel Buffet breakfast is good as the portion come in big size. #mustvisit

Wildcard is one of the fancy restaurant located at Furama Hotel. The entrance is not the easiest to find which makes the while dining experience more interesting, you need to find your way to this fancy restaurant. The staffs here are super friendly, they came to recommend their today’s special and kindly explained to us as well. We ordered quite a few items from their menu and ALL are delicious!! My favourite is the torched Mackerel, didn’t know mackerel can be this nice. The sauce is so flavourful, and it’s not spicy even though they mix with gochujang sauce. Prawn sando is also very delicious, the prawn is so nicely fried and the bun was delicious, super fluffy. The ragatoni looks ordinary but it taste powerful, so much flavour and so umami, really one of the best!! The only downside of this place are the dishes are too small portion, but given that the price are very reasonable, I would definitely pay the amount for their food. We needed our meal with toffee tickle pudding with ice cream and it was the best way to end a meal. Toffee pudding is so delicious, so good to pair with vanilla ice cream.

#familytrips2024 I have stayed at the furama riverfront hotel before . The rooms are big and comfortable. For their bigger rooms, they do have a bathtub within the room. The hotel is huge and the lobby is spacious with many seats. There are few vending machines where you can buy some drinks or snacks there. Our dream destination for our family trip is to visit Hong Kong. We will like to try out their beef noodles and also their shop at their temple Street to grab some great and cheap things there. We would like to stay back in the royal plaza family room again as the room is spacious and is able to accommodate four adults.

Our dream destination for our family trip is to visit Guangzhou again. We will like to visit the yuexiu park there and take a walk around the area. We will also like to visit the shopping mall there and the museums there too.

Each dish was served individually so we didn’t have to rush to eat the food while they’re still hot! Every dish we ordered was amazing and blew our minds. No exaggeration. I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Furama Riverfront Hotel in Singapore. I was upgraded to a Club Room, which entitled me to access to the Club Lounge on the 2nd floor. It also bring nostalgic vibe back to the olden days. The hotel might be old but its facilities are not run down. Quite comfortable place to stay at.
