Kids, there's a super interesting water park hidden inside Jecheon University in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea!
Its name is "Jongwon Water Park," and it's open from July 15 to August 20, every day from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Parking here is free!
Let's talk about ticket prices. Adults need to pay 18,000 KRW, kids under 12 years old are 15,000 KRW, and babies under 3 years old can enter for free. Students, teachers, and staff at the university, along with their families, can enjoy half-price tickets. Residents of Chungcheongbuk-do get an additional 3,000 KRW discount. For lockers, there's a deposit of 10,000 KRW, and you can only pay in cash.
A few things to note: you can't buy tickets online in advance; you have to purchase them on-site using the machines, and cash payments are not accepted. However, you can borrow swim rings for free, available in 100cm and 120cm sizes. If you're bringing a baby, you'll need to bring your own specialized swim ring.
Outside food is not allowed inside, but there's a snack bar on the first floor and a cafeteria on the second floor offering Korean meals, Chinese dishes, set menus, pizza, and fried foods—so many delicious options! Kids, gather your friends and go have fun!
