Iloilo’s island hopping itinerary will not be inferior to Bohol and Boracay, places with many tourists! However, it was difficult to get there by transportation, so I went with a local! Self drive trip! The beach is really beautiful! The water is so clean that I can't believe it. I spent about half an hour on each island! The entire trip costs almost NT$1,800! If you are interested, you can follow the tour group directly after arriving at the airport.

I am travelling from the sea port of Iloilo City to BREDCO Port in Bacolod City via Ocean Jet fast craft . The estimated travel time is one hour to one hour and thirty minutes. The distance between iloilo and bacolod is 42 kms. The tickets fare depends on the accomodation- open air for 550php, tourist class for 550php amd business class for 800php. I choose the airconditioned accomodation for tourist class. Ocean Jet is famous fast craft ferry service for its cleanliness, convenience amd comfort while travelling. I visit Ilo-ilo city and it is not complete without tasting Lapaz Batchoy. When it comes to batchoy, I go to Ted's Old Timer La Paz Batchoy which originally started in La Paz, Iloilo City. It continues to grow franchising in different cities in the country. As I go to the counter, it is "pay as you order" system. I try their specialty the "extra super". I decide to go to usual noodle with pork slices, pork liver, pork intestines, crushed pork cracklings, tidbits of garlic and flavorful soup. My craving is more satisfied with puto (filipino steamed rice cake) as I dip on my batchoy soup. Everything is delicious and fulfilling for 160php only. Garin farm is a pilgrimage resort at Purok 2, San Joaquin, San Joaquin, Ilo-Ilo. Being here I experienced feeding my body with the restaurant serving ilo-ilo cuisine and feeding my soul by doing prayer as pilgrim ascending to the mountain from creation to ascencion. It becomes popular as "Stairway to Heaven". To reach the top is to climb with 480-steps staircase. For Seniors, PWD, and those who# can't walk can rent a golf cart for 300 php for 3 people. By the way, I paid my entrance fee for 150php. Truly, the experience here is complete with leisure and retreat.
