🚙 Self-driving in Okinawa|The temperature of the island, traveling in the direction of the wind
The charm of Okinawa is not just the sea, nor is it just Japanese style, it is more like a "free pace" rhythm of life. This time we drove across the north and south of the island, and wrote our favorite rhythm into the blue road.

📍 Day 1: Prelude to the night - Kokusai-dori
Naha at night is more lively than expected.
As soon as the plane landed, we dragged our luggage into the crowd of Kokusai-dori.
The evening breeze was filled with the aroma of Ichiran's pork bones, accompanied by a slightly sticky humidity.
For the first time, I felt that "Okinawa is like Taiwan, but not quite the same."
🏨 Check-in: Hotel Lantana (small and warm, with breakfast)
🍜 Midnight snack: Ichiran Ramen - a tranquilizer for the late night
⸻
📍 Day 2: History and nature side by side
In the morning, we picked up the car at YOUI Car Rental Kokusai-dori store and started our three-day self-driving journey.
📍 Gyokusen Cave|The mystery and dampness of the underground world
🎭 We also watched the Taiko show and the venomous snake show, which was wonderful
In the evening, we stayed at the DSH Beach Building next to Chatan American Village
The sea view balcony matched the pink and orange sunset, everything was just right.
For dinner, we had ramen in AEON until we were full, visited the American Village for a while, and then returned to the hotel to watch the sea and relax.

📍 Day 3: The wind blows from Kouri
This day is one of my favorite routes: the northern coastline
🌉 Kouri Bridge|The moment you drive across it, you really want to scream "It's so beautiful!"
🦐 Shrimp Wagon Shrimp Rice|Garlic butter shrimp with white rice, very satisfying
💙 Nakijin Castle Ruins|The ancient castle ruins are magnificent, but it suddenly rained heavily and we became half-drenched 😂
🐷 Dinner is Agu pork cuisine|The atmosphere of the old folk house makes people want to stay
⸻
📍 Day 4: Island surfing and shopping fever
🍣 After checking out, go directly to Grume conveyor belt sushi to eat
☀️ Then we went to Minatogawa Foreigners' Residence, which seemed to be in Little California
🌊 In the afternoon, we wandered around Senaga Island and visited Umikaji Terrace Open-air white cottage
After returning the car, we went back to downtown Naha and ate the long-reserved "Ryukyu beef"🍖
🏨Stay: Naha Kumoji Nest Hotel
⸻
📍 Day 5: Say goodbye by eating pork and egg rice balls
Finally, we left the hotel at 7 am and drove to the airport
Before boarding the plane, we bought two hot pork and egg rice balls as a period in Okinawa.
⸻
📌 The whole trip is 5 days and 4 nights
⛽ The fuel cost is about ¥2800, and the highway toll is within ¥2,000
📷 Recommended: Walking in the American Village and Gyokusen Cave are also suitable for parent-child travel
🌺 Okinawa is not only about beaches, it is also gentle.
Next time I want to go to Kume Island again, stay in a B&B for one night, and do nothing.
