On a day when I left without any plans, the place I ended up was Gwanggyo Street.
It was a place I always came to, but it felt different depending on the season and my mood.
The sunlight was reflecting off the road and sparkling, and the shadows of the trees were long on the ground.
As I passed by people sitting on the terrace in front of the cafe,
I imagined their quiet conversations in their daily lives.
If I walked slowly without stopping, my heart also became calm.
A walk that was better when I was alone, not with anyone.
Gwanggyo Street has that kind of charm. It makes you want to walk for no reason.

Gwanggyo Street is great for just walking
#ThailandFlightEvent
🌿
A sunny afternoon, I walked along Gwanggyo Street without any purpose.
The wind was slightly cool, and the trees along the street sparkled green.
The coffee scent wafting between the cafes, and the expressions of the people looking out the windows were peaceful.
Even if it's not a special place, it's enough to have one street where you can walk quietly like this.
It feels like my complicated mind all day is being cleared up.
I just walked without any pictures or music.
That time was the best rest for me.

Gwanggyo Cafe Street in Spring, just walking around was healing
#ThailandFlightEvent
🌸
When I want to walk without any plans on the weekend, the place that always comes to mind is Gwanggyo Cafe Street. This time, I wanted to spend some time alone, so I intentionally put my phone in my bag and just walked quietly, and it was a really good choice.
The road from Gwanggyo Lake Park is flat, so it's easy to walk, and there are trees and flowers on both sides, so I felt good the whole time I was walking. Especially since it was a spring day with some cherry blossoms left, I felt like I was on a trip just by walking!
Emotional cafes that caught my eye here and there... I went into one, sat by the window, and drank coffee, but I didn't know that time would feel so precious. The sound of people talking quietly sounded like background music, so it actually made me feel comfortable.
A day where you can heal just by 'walking' without any special activities. Gwanggyo Street, you should definitely walk on this kind of weather. I walked for over an hour without even realizing that my legs were sore.

🚶♀️A walk around Gwanggyo Street was healing itself!
#ThailandFlightEvent
The weather has been so nice lately that I walked around Gwanggyo Cafe Street for the first time in a while. This place is definitely called “healing in the city.” Since it’s next to Gwanggyo Lake Park, the breeze is cool, and nature is with me the whole way, so I felt really refreshed.
In particular, there are many emotional cafes along the path that follows the forest village, so it’s fun to look around, and the quiet atmosphere makes it nice to be able to focus on walking. I think it’s perfect if you want to quietly organize your thoughts.
I stopped by a cafe in the middle and took out an iced latte and walked again, and the time I spent walking while drinking coffee was healing in itself. It felt like a small gift to me, who usually lives a busy life looking at my smartphone.
I recommend around 10 AM or 5-6 PM before sunset. Gwanggyo Lake Park is really pretty around sunset!

Suwon Gwanggyo A breath of nature in the middle of a busy day in the city, in front of Gwanggyo Cafe Street🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #Gwanggyo #koreatrip #suwon #SuwonThingsToDo #TravelPlan #OutdoorDate #DomesticTravel #ParkOuting #Park
After finishing all the sightseeing this afternoon, I spent some leisurely time at the circular grass park in front of Gwanggyo Cafe Street. I was sitting on a bench reading a book when three puppies suddenly came and ran around my feet, making me laugh. The central fountain was even better because the water stream went up and down rhythmically as if it was dancing, which made me feel relaxed!
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended spots: Waterside deck walking path → A peaceful wooden path that circles the lake
Hidden spot: "Shade bench" on the north side of the park → A quiet resting area under a large zelkova tree
Recommended snack: "Craft ice cream" (6,800 won) at the entrance of the street → Vanilla ice cream in a handmade cone
🚨 Notes
Weekends are crowded, so weekdays are more relaxed
The central lawn sometimes has water, so a mat is a must
Some benches are directly exposed to sunlight, so a hat is recommended
I was drawn to the sound of the busking performer's acoustic guitar, so I sat there for a while, and the grandmother sitting next to me gave me a mini fan she made herself!! I'm so lucky today, lol!! While walking around the lake, I found a cat outside the window and we exchanged greetings!! This space, where cafes and parks coexist, is a place where the hustle and bustle of the city and the tranquility of nature are exquisitely combined! Be sure to take a break here when you have time!

Time to face the jewel of the East Sea, let's protect our land, Dokdo🇰🇷
#AustraliaFlightEvent #SoloTravel #GwanggyoTravel #DomesticTravel #koreatrip #suwon #museum
This afternoon, I visited the "OurLand, DokdoGuardian" exhibition at the Suwon Gwanggyo Museum next to the Gwanggyo Cafe Street and thought about the importance of territorial defense! The 1:100 scale Dokdo terrain model at the entrance caught my eye, but I was surprised by the more rugged terrain than I thought. ㅎㅎ At the Dokdo-related ancient documents exhibition from the early 1900s, there were systematically organized materials proving that it had been our territory for a long time!!
📌 Points for solo travelers
Recommended experience: Dokdo AR experience → Virtual reality tour of the entire Dokdo (15 minutes, free)
Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Secret of Dokdo Underwater" → Underwater ecosystem video room with few visitors
Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Dokdo-shaped cookie" (5,500 won) → Island-shaped cookie and Omija tea
🚨 Notes
AR experience closes at 4:30 PM (device maintenance time required)
Video room starts showing every 20 minutes, no mid-show entry allowed
Some historical materials are difficult to see with the naked eye due to poor lighting
It was even more special because I was able to see the rain falling in front of the Dokdo live video broadcast! I wrote "History protected, future to protect" on my own Dokdo postcard made at the experience zone! It's free! The last Dokdo Guardian experience in the exhibition hall was a role-playing game where you become a member of the Dokdo Coast Guard!!

Gwanggyo Cafe Street European Parisian Cafe 🇹🇭☕️💕
I recommend "Kkottakot" in Gwanggyo, a sentimental cafe with a Parisian feel🇹🇭☕️💕
It's a coffee shop with an atmosphere that feels like you're somewhere on the streets of Paris, France~✨✨✨
The façade gives off a strong European feel, and the interior is decorated in a modern French style.💕
In addition, the terrace has a replica of the Parisian love wall.💕
On a nice day like today, enjoy a cup of coffee at "Kkottakot" with a Parisian feel~☕️💕

The cafe with the best atmosphere in Gwanggyo Cafe Street☕️
#JanuaryTravelSupportEvent #SuwonTravel #GwanggyoCafe
There are many cafes in Gwanggyo Cafe Street, but I like this one the best! It's Cafe 'YMMD'.
This place has a unique warm atmosphere with wood-tone interior and lighting, and the videos coming out of the large beam projector seem to add to the emotion.
The owner is kind and the menu is delicious.
If you're having trouble deciding which cafe to go to among the many cafes in Gwanggyo Cafe Street, I recommend this place!
