🍲 First experience at Haidilao Hotpot at the Londoner Macau store | Limited seafood porridge hotpot + free snacks after the meal, what a surprise!
📍1st floor, The Londoner Macau
🕰 10:00–07:00
It was my first time eating Haidilao outside Taiwan, and I chose the Londoner Macau. The overall space flow, ordering system, and dining process are similar to those in Taiwan, which is very familiar to us who are traveling to Macau for the first time. I originally just wanted to draw a number and then go to other rooms, but after a round, I still came back to report. Although my number was over, the on-site staff said that I could be seated after the third day. Tea and snacks will be provided while waiting. The overall experience is good.
I chose the Macau-exclusive seafood porridge pot for the pot base. The soup base tastes as refreshing and sweet as rice soup, not as strong as Taiwanese pots, which is very suitable for people who are afraid of greasy; the tomato pot is a classic flavor with a rich taste, which is a more pleasing one. The black truffle caviar beef rice is as dry and fragrant as fried rice, which we all think is the best dish. Meat categories such as fatty beef, lamb, and crispy meat are familiar flavors, which are quite satisfactory without too many surprises.
The total cost of this meal was MOP$488 (including service charge), which is slightly higher than Taiwan, but it is reasonable in the tourist area. The only pity is that the service was a bit cold at the beginning, especially after we refused to add some small ingredients, the waiter seemed not very warm; but after the shift change, the whole atmosphere was improved, and he took the initiative to send a fruit platter, and gave two bags of snacks as souvenirs before leaving. The good impression in the end successfully recovered some points.
