Haikou Clock Tower is an important landmark in Haikou. It has a history of nearly one hundred years; it was originally built as an adaptation to foreign trade. The tower is five stories high, with walls made of red brick. Haikou Clock Tower stands on Changti Road and faces the water. The old buildings opposite the tower are part of the famous Haikou Arcaded Streets.
