It’s a zoo with the added feature of a drive through safari with no fences (the animals are separated by a moat) Guests can take a train ride through the safari park and be enthralled by feeding lions, tigers, wolves and bears just to name a few predators. The zoo is broken up into various animal classes such as birds, reptiles, mammals, primates and farm animals like donkeys, marmots and pigs which can be petted and fed in open pens. There are also rides and attractions to keep the little ones entertained as well as theatres for daily shows featuring the animals. (I’m not a fan of circuses so I avoided this option) The cutest part was the animal nursery where you get to see tiger 🐅 cubs playing with each other, just across from the otter 🦦 enclosure and their excited squeaking. I loved watching the gibbons swing with their long forearms it was almost like they were flying. There’s a Panda exhibit and a waterland exhibit featuring Cranes and other bird life. There are restaurants scattered around the park serving up dry and wet noodle dishes, places offering coffee and desert, fast food or ice cream. 📍Hangzhou Safari Park, agreat combination of Zoo/safari 1.5 hours east of Hangzhou. Metro line 6 will take you to nearest station Yinhu, from here you can get bus 314 or walk 15 minutes. You can get sooo close to many different animals 🤓🤩 🎟 220 entrance fee, encludes all areas of the park, the safari train🚂, most of the rides in the theme park 🎡🎠 as well as the Animal show in the Happy theater🎪. A great day out with or without children's😀 many different animals 🐒🐗🐍🦈🐫🦒🦍🦔 and in good care and conditions compared to other zoos I have visited. the visit takes around 3-4 hours. I would recommend doing the Safari part in the park's train🚂 rather than your own vehicle as the keepers know the times the trains will approach and lure the animals out with food so you can see them a little closer 😋🍏🤓. You can also rent a little car to make your way round the park for 200-300RMB, You MUST have a Chinese driving license with you to rent one. There is plenty of food and drink places so you can rest and recharge🍔🍜🍧.
