However, during peak seasons, airfare and accommodation prices can fluctuate significantly, and booking can be challenging. I often use Trip.com for convenience. My favorite place to stay in Da Nang is the Melia Vinpearl Da Nang Riverfront. This 5-star hotel offers stunning views and delicious breakfast, especially the pho! 😍 In the evening, you can enjoy the rooftop bar with a view of the nightscape or visit the bakery café on the first floor. The cleanliness is impeccable. Additionally, the hotel operates Da Nang Tower near the pool, which serves amazing steak. 😋 The best time to visit is from January to March. Here's a tip: exchange $100 at a jewelry store to get the best rate for Vietnamese Dong. When shopping, make sure to haggle for discounts! The Hoi An Night Market is cheaper than Han Market. Many locals in Da Nang speak Korean, so you don’t need to worry about communication. They are generally very friendly, and massages are affordable. Let me take you there… Cù Lao Chàm (pronounced something like “Koo Lao Cham”) is a small cluster of islands about 30 minutes by speedboat from the charming town of Hội An. HoiAn night market is one of great places for locals and tourists to find great food and souvenirs. Need to do some bargaining to get the great deals. It is located next to ancient town. Hoi An Night Market is a great spot to visit with colorful lanterns lighting up the streets and a lively atmosphere. However, it can get pretty crowded, especially in the evening and night. The original street grid plan remains as it was, and 844 of the 1107 buildings making up the townscape are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Give yourself enough time to stop for a ‘cà phê sữa đá’ (delicious Vietnamese iced coffee) at the Rooftop cafe and enjoy sunset / night view, enter a gallery, or shop for souvenirs. You may also buy an Old Town Ticket at the entrance to the old town to get entry into five of Hội An’s heritage buildings.

When we were at Hoi An in Jan 2025, the locals have highly recommended us to watch the Hoi An Impression Show. It is a breathtaking spectacle that celebrates Vietnam’s rich culture, history, and heritage in a truly mesmerizing way. Set on an open-air stage surrounded by water, the show combines stunning visuals, dramatic storytelling, and intricate choreography to create an unforgettable experience. The vibrant costumes, traditional music, and artistic performances showcase the beauty of Vietnamese traditions, from ancient dynasties to the charm of Hoi An as a historic trading port. We like the show very much and it is very impressive. The eco seat ticket fees is 540kVND/pax.
