For sisters traveling to Shenzhen, you can try the Holiday Inn Express Shenzhen Dongmen!!!
Shenzhen has many good hotels, such as the Orange Fishing Sand Resort, Pengrui Raffles, Mandarin Oriental, Park Hyatt, Andaz, etc. However, if luxury is not a consideration, from the perspectives of cost-effectiveness, location, software, hardware, management, and service, I highly recommend Dongmen Holiday Inn Express, no other hotel can compare.
I have no vested interest in the hotel, whether I pay for it myself or my clients who hire me for performances or hosting book it for me, over the years, I have written about the pros and cons of every hotel I've stayed in with a fair, impartial, open, objective, neutral, and transparent attitude, which is kind of my obsession. But for the Dongmen Holiday Inn Express, I really can't find any faults; it excels in every aspect. Sometimes, I feel that the staff are underappreciated; with their professionalism, they could totally work at hotels like the OCT InterContinental or the Venice Indigo. To be honest, it feels like a waste of their talent here, that's my honest opinion, haha.
【Room Glimpse】
The hotel arranged for me the suite with the largest area and the best view, overlooking the Shenzhen Reservoir, the source of vitality for Shenzhen. If the weather is good, almost every scene looks like a beautifully woven picturesque oil painting, intoxicatingly beautiful. The suite has a standard bathtub, and it's even a plus version of an oxygen-enriched room; the negative ion machine can also repel mosquitoes, killing several birds with one stone. Considering that I brought a lot of clothes, the hotel also specially prepared a clothes rack, and there were even bathrobes, which are really rare in Holiday Inn Express hotels. The living room's sofa area is spacious and stylish, both the guest and master bathrooms are equipped with small towels and hand soap, these seemingly inconspicuous details in five-star hotels are distinctive and precious in the HIX category. It's like paying for a three-star hotel and enjoying the services and hardware of more than five stars, this kind of leapfrogging pleasure is really cool. There are about 200 Holiday Inn Express hotels in China, and I have stayed in more than 100 of them; the hardware standards of most Holiday Inn Express hotels are three-star business travel standards, with a few reaching four-star levels. This Dongmen Holiday Inn Express, in many aspects of software and hardware, can almost compare with some Holiday Inn, CP hotels, and InterContinental hotels, truly breathtaking.
【Public Area Brief】
The hotel is next to Shenzhen's most expensive affluent and villa area, close to Cuizhu subway station and MixC Mall, and the 'Wutong' creative restaurant, which has a close connection with the hotel's Chinese owner, is also nearby. My family of four often visits the Wutong on Beijing's Xiaoyun Road; my eldest son even celebrated his birthday there, leaving us with a deep impression. The hotel's gym is fully equipped, enough for one to sweat profusely. The laundry room is completely free, and most Holiday Inn Express hotels collaborate with the 'Beaver' app, this hotel is no exception.
