I'll introduce you to the brand new Ramada Plaza & Sea One Resort, a brand new hotel and resort that opened in July.♥️ It was bigger than I thought, and it's still under construction, so I'm curious about how big the resort complex will be in the future~ The beach is right in front, so it's nice to take a walk around, and since it's a new resort, all the spaces are clean, which is even better. #Ho-kang-s This resort was especially beautiful because all rooms had ocean views. The breakfast was delicious, and the sound of the waves crashing could be heard loudly no matter where you were, so it felt healing. This is a resort I recommend when you come to Sinan. The building is old, but it is well-maintained.

Hongdo is where you can get to by boat from Mokpo! I wanted to go there at least once, so I visited, and it was so great! The sea is clear and the raw fish is delicious! It was a really beautiful island! #HotPlace

In Sinan, famous for its salt, they also sell salt ice cream~!!🙌🏻 There are so many different flavors! From fruit flavors like mango and tangerine to mala-flavored ice cream!! I ordered one mango flavor and one mala-flavored ice cream! Various flavors of salt were sprinkled on top of the soft ice cream! #summervacay So I ended up on Heuksando Island thinking I’d just chill by the water, but someone said, “You gotta check out Chilrakbong,” and next thing I know, I’m halfway up a mountain questioning my life choices. Chilrakbong is no joke. The trail’s steep, kinda wild in parts, and your legs will be like “uh, hello??” But the views? Absolutely worth every step. You get this full-on panorama of the sea, cliffs, and tiny scattered islands like something out of a fantasy movie. I stood there like, “Wait, this is real?” It’s quiet up there too, no crowds, no noise, just wind and waves echoing from below. I even saw a falcon or something equally majestic (could’ve been a big seagull, but I’m choosing the cooler version). Definitely bring water, maybe a hiking buddy, and a snack to flex with at the summit. Chilrakbong is one of those places that surprises you in the best way. 12/10 would hike and suffer again.

#summervacay Okay, Hongdo? Absolute hidden gem. It’s this tiny island off the coast of Jeollanam-do, and getting there feels like a mini adventure itself, boat ride, sea breeze, questionable convenience store snacks... 10/10 already. The island’s all dramatic cliffs, crazy rock formations, and ocean views that hit you right in the feelings. I took one of those boat tours around the island and legit couldn’t stop saying “whoa” every five seconds. The rocks have names too (I forgot all of them, but still cool). On land, it’s super chill, tiny villages, fresh seafood, and those sleepy coastal vibes where time kind of disappears. You won’t find Starbucks here, but you will find the best grilled mackerel of your life and locals who smile at you like you’re part of the neighborhood. Not super touristy, which makes it even better. Bring a camera, wear comfy shoes, and maybe don’t expect full phone signal. Just vibe. Hongdo’s got that magic.
